  Great advise in 2024. Fuck all the gatekeepers in L.A. graffiti who are still around and they know who they are. There shouldn't be any gatekeeping anymore. Take advantage of the soft laws on graffiti and do graffiti however you want.

  Early 2000s hael and colt 45 were crushing it along w several guys from otr, csm, tko, cbs and Lts more off the 110 when I’d go that way thru Hollywood. I had to drive the 405 every single day to get to work in van nuys from Torrance so I’d be on freeway every day. Brock 77 was killing it too. Otr for me where I was driving prob the most up. At first I thought it was a dude otter and thought it was funny n thought he had friends cause it was always next to different different names then I realized it was the crew and they kept adding names. Haeler and colt 45 for like at least a year or three were terrorizing the 405. One day after a real foggy night there was 20 colt 45 two color throwies down this whole ramp in a row more than I’ve ever seen still to this day and they were consistent and clean as hell. If I wasn’t so fkn dumb I’d have brought a camera every day. Csm always was beefing w dif crews had dudes w long names like surrendr I think B52 bomber and a few others that would do one colors outlines w the black shading off to the side to pop it off but clean as hell cause u can’t really make mistakes w the one color empty inside jobs. I did get pics of a dope ass opyem and revok battle on a Culver City roof top on Venice by watseka where multiple days they were going over each other n talking shit w lil notes proclaiming their spot. Jhif was up in Culver City and j4f I think too.
