This would be a good review if the series wasn’t part of an already made comic that has ended. The series has a long way to go and there will be a lot of things explained, assuming all the changes from comics to the show don’t mess it up.

ngl I expected not to agree with you but I do think you made a lot of valid points in this video. regardless I do think that the finale served as a great parallel to the finale of the first season and was a nice tie back to the beginning of the season in which mark is struggling to except his similarities to his father. I also overall just enjoyed the season despite its flaws. hopefully season 3 makes up for this.

The Angstrom Levy argument.... bro just wait for Season 3, please. His whole character is based off of villains who are petty and evil to heroes for trivial reasons. (I can't spoil why the reason is simple)

Well i don't have a problem with amber she was just dumb in season 1 and got better in season 2 But the worst character is still william in my opinion That faggot is just entitled he only cares about rick even when mark was brutally beaten when trying to save his boyfriend he wasn't satisfied he only wanted rick to come out alive And I think he is jealous of mark so he tries to make him feel bad about himself

I feel a general understanding throughout this conversation that you should avoid getting mad over "nitpicks" when a show isnt fully developed. We are aproaching the part of invincible that is most remembered for and is appreciated. So many aspects of this show are setting up things for the future. Keep in mind that most changes made in the show are things robert kirkman wished he did in the comics.

But she doesnt "just want to love and care for him"...she wants to be at the center of his attention and time, which looked at through the lense of a human relationship, is still a very toxic trait to have... The bible says many times; humanity is his most precious creation, not the insignificant rock we are born on. The poet is justified in all his sacrifices if he so decides.

This video voiced alot of the issues i had. A few others to add - why didn't Angstrom build his machine quite literally ANYWHERE else in the multiverse, somewhere they wouldn't be bothered within 30 seconds of their machine turning on. He already showed us a barren wastland. Also mark so easily got home after the vultrimite attack in ep4 and after his fight with angstrom. Both times i thought wow thus is really interesting, we are going to have to explore Mark lost alone, and see how he has to really harden up/ tap into his vultrimite side ti adapt. Nope. Just as you said. Comvinence. Too many things happen too conviniently just so they can push the story forward. Same with points of charcaters being OP and then wasted. Common issue with this genre. Characters are shown to have really creative, intersting and poeerful abilities only to do the dumbist thing everytime. Like why does Eve mess about with little purple shields when she could turn all the water in their stomaches to diamond

this feels like a slow season that definitely couldve been managed better but i think it was fine enough to put i guess the "smaller and earthly" conflicts down in preparation of the rest of the show cuz it gets pretty big afterwards in terms of scale esp now the viltrumite problem starting to build

The problem with Eve's storyline is that if the city had just announced the lot was unstable, she could very easily have stabilized it with her powers. People were already living there for who knows how many years, just leading them on to think that they might repair it at some point. The normal people in this setting need to stop being overly concerned about money and cost effectiveness, while acknowledging that they have practical demigods at their disposal who want to help improve their lives!

23:48: "why not explain to Mark" In Angstrom's defense, the device was already active and you could make the argument that Angstrom 2 to 100, remembering the homicidal mass-killer that is Mark, began influencing his decision-making. He comes off as an egotist whose Utopian ideals trump reason. So by this point, he's incapable of thoroughly explaining his plan in full. And realistically, could he even do that while Mauler and Mark were fighting? There's a very realistic chance that Mark doesn't believe him at all and shuts down the machine, possibly ending his plan at best or killing off all the Angstroms at worst. Even if this isn't apparent, the mind-merger was always doomed to fail with how many realities that fell to Mark and the Vultrimite Empire.

There is nothing wrong with Amber wanting to be with someone who is present. Literally everything she has said or done is valid asf. Mark and Amber literally just aren't compatible. That doesn't make her a bad person and it doesn't make him one either. She wanted a guy who can be present and exist normally, but Mark is not normal so it would never work out.

That’s the same issue I had with the movie, it wants to make it seems like it’s all in her head yet for anyone with 2 brain cells can see the obvious stranger danger displayed by that creep. The other issue was all the stupid decision she makes during the movie. I did enjoy the movie for the most part but the ending was a little ridiculous. She should have died and the last shot should have been her husband watching the spider walk out of the apartment and left that as the last shot.

I’m okay with the rush writing. That’s the nature of animation, limited budgets, and great voice actors (who you have a very limited time to use) that are elite actors. If you don’t progress the stand keep excitement, you’ll lose money to keep it going another season.

What's funny is a lot of the problems you have with this seasons stem from the comics Angstroms plot was always meant to be both really edgy but also really silly and fun fan service and the comics still fall into very campy tropey styles of storytelling That said you definitely misread or misinterpret the amount of information certain characters might have at certain given times. Not everything that the audience knows would be known by the characters

This is all because a dumb sjw who couldn't leave it well enough alone tried to make changes to the original story and as usual ended up ruining everything. And if you want proof he's an sjw idiot just look at atom eve's symbol. In the comics it's the female symbol with an atom over it, on the show they just put a cross over it

Oh my God… I’m disgusted not only with your support of Mark Grayson supposedly “Standing on Business.” But even the way you said this, “He stands defiant…” You see I hate shows like Invincible because it’s just like Game of Thrones. It starts off really good. Giving us all the impression that no character is safe. Anything can happen. And the consequences of bad decisions will sometimes be swift and brutal. You say, “His spirit is what’s truly invincible.” Nah nigga… It’s his PLOT ARMOR that is invincible. I was really enjoying this show but for me the real stand out moments of Season 2 of Invincible was Rex Explode really coming thru in a clutch to save the day from the bad guys when he was the last man standing and how well they showed how difficult it could be for a superhero to date a civilian with Mark & Amber. But Invincible with its protagonist is falling into the same trap that turned me of My Hero Academia with its protagonist Izuku Midoriya constantly being praised and rewarded for his “heroics” instead of paying a high price for constantly being greedy for nobility and self-sacrifice. Mark was a fool for not bending the knee in that moment. It’s not like Anissa ordered him to delete a bunch of humans to prove his loyalty to the Viltrumite Empire. He missed out on a great opportunity to learn more about the galaxies greatest menace to free will and independence. He could’ve learned so much about Viltrumite Culture, Biology & Tactics. That could’ve been potentially beneficial to humanity. But instead he decided to let his bruised ego run his life. If Invincible was real. Anissa would’ve just crushed the half-breed Mark Grayson’s neck like a grape. And that would’ve been the end of the story of the teenage superhero Invincible. Plot Armor is the lamest and laziest of all writing. Right next to out of nowhere Deus ex Machina conflict resolution.

6:04, Her jealous attitude, or rather how her attitude was utilized, was another aspect of what made her character not work well, especially when compared to the various other characters that were written with far greater complexity and intentional flaws. Mark was indeed immature, irresponsible and arrogant in how he handled this relationship and being a superhero under his father’s tutelage (causing unnecessary collateral damage and picking fights just flex his own power up until Battle Beast beat the pride out of him through his stomach), stringing Amber along without revealing his secret or breaking it off earlier when it was clear he couldn’t commit to it just as Eve said, but Amber’s own self-important, jealous attitude despite the various activism and charity she was portrayed by in participating in didn’t make her position all that sympathetic, an issue that was only compounded as Mark’s struggles as a superhero increased with the various horrors he was subjected to, only to return to Amber to get berated even after she knew and witnessed first hand the kinds of trials he endures. They ignored these writing issues in Season 2 by having her instead acknowledge that Mark’s job is important and what he goes through is, yet feeling guilty over feeling neglected when he is forced to abandon her, which eventually ends their relationship (something that happens in the comics, but without the issues the show’s version of Amber had with Mark keeping secrets from her, with comic Amber and Mark acknowledging their diverging paths in a more mature and healthy way), but at that point, it’s not a relationship that will be missed in the long run, as both characters were never really compatible or had much chemistry from the start.

One way to explain how old captain hand over the shield. In the main MCU Earth-616 or Earth-199999, our captain went to alt-universe to return infinite stones, he stayed there and never came back home. The twist is, the old captain hand over the shield are not our earth captain, he is from another earth... identical but different. Captain plot aromor ensure no two or more Captain went to the same earth lmao, same goes for Avenger, they all traveled to same place, unique time and space that untouched by other copy of themselves. Thats really lucky consider infinite number of themselves travel at that stage of their life (end game).

The passage of time is not an illusion, it's a fundamental aspect of reality, something that existed before even The Big Bang. But in MCU, The Big Bang exist first. The Infinity Stones are powerful artifacts that each represent a different aspect of existence: Space, Mind, Reality, Power, Soul, and Time. Which can not be destroyed forever like x-men phoenix power. However can be removed from their own dimension/universe/timeline according to MCU, also copys of them at each different reality/dimension... Cause and effect wise, if and big if, Space, Mind, Reality, Power, Soul, and Time can be destroyed. Imagine destory all organic being in all universes, then maybe mind and soul stone will be despair/unusable due to that aspects of representation no longer needed. Not other way around. If stones get destroyed, it just regenerate slowly randomly in that universe. Experience is the key word, we experience flow of time. Also realtionship of creator and creations, once created, have uts own existence. Destory one does not necessarily mean destroy the other.
