I know I’m late to the party, but I had same issue this week. Tracked it down to internally leaking heat exchange. Coolant was going right out exhaust with the raw water. Confirmed that once I removed the side cap to the heat exchanger where I discovered the orange coolant leaking from a few of the cooling tubes. Break out another thousand.
Love your channel. I own a 26 express & need to change batteries for first time. No gen. What batteries do you recommend?
That’s a tough question. Depends on your boat, battery charger and needs. Does your charger support AGM batteries? Those are maintenance free for most part but not all chargers support AGM charging profiles. If you were happy with the batts you had, replace with like for like.
what you are observing are manatees mating.
brevard county... my neck of the woods..
Congratulations on your pending retirement.. I too work for Verizon and I “pushed the button “ as well after 33 years.. we are looking at doing this trip in the winter months, which is how I found you guys.. Great Stuff
Congrats! Safe travels on your journey!
Wow, you’re getting into mechanic level work. Ya save many $$$ doing it yourself. Good job. You don’t strike me as a mechanic in your past career 😂🤪. KZread has been soooo useful helping me with “engineering “ projects I encounter. At least you have the confidence to tackle it yourself 👍👍
If you’re didn’t do my own work I couldn’t afford that boat. Lol
The diode check is NOT OHMS it is voltage drop across the leads(The meter sends a small voltage out) Second I noticed your copper in the earth line has turned black @1:41 ... there is your problem..... Replace your green earth wires... both of them.
I enjoyed your adventures. Thank you for sharing. That's what boating is all about. Stay blessed during your retirement.
Fresh water wash down!😂
Thanks man
I thought you switched to a Regal w/ outboards?
We have the Regal and the Meridian now. We also had a pontoon but we sold that for the regal.
Dear sir, One question from Spain.... Do you power on the generator when you travel for example at 20 knots?? i never do this, and i don´t know if ti´s good idea... your videos are very inetersting, i have a ASTONDOA 394 very similir to your boat. If you come to Spain i show you .....
We typically only use the generator at night when anchored.
Fantastic!
the local stonners, , most likely
Came across your channel this morning. Is that? Yes it is. Leon my wife Michele and I met you and the pup at happy hour, had to, at snooks right after the generator issue. Unfortunately your wife stayed onboard that afternoon. Hope all is well 🍻
Yes I remember! That was a fun place! We got to walk around and provision in town too! That’s a future video!
looks like a cool spot took mine out for a 35 mile run yesterday
Where to?
@@AdventuresofHappyOurs bear my then up towards west point then marina then croton
@Sailing.Artemis miss it!
Have you ever stopped in New Bern on your way down?
Electrois issue. Zines are not aluminum, just pick one up, and you'll see.
My anodes are aluminum. You can get them in aluminum, zinc or magnesium.
Seem like they would raise the stern first .. get the props and drive shafts outta the ground?
Any gators in this lake / area ? As a tourist I always hear the worst stories. Essentially avoid any canals or fresh water areas. The locals seem to have less fear than the snowbirds. I tend to just stay at the beach resorts in Hallandale Beach and Hollywood.
No gators that I saw but definitely sharks!
Cool spot! thanks...
Good stuff. Thanks for sharing.
tere are tracks in the swamp, used for LOGGING,,great lunber
Great relaxing video. Incredible profile photo of Matee….perfect backdrop 👍👍
Brilllllliant ⛵️
Awesome scenery! I'm enjoying your videos immensely. Keep up the good work Capt. Tom and crew.
It's amazing how quick the current takes over under a bridge
You have to learn to pronounce Boca Raton the proper way lol. Everyone in Florida, regardless where they're originally from pronounces it Boca RA-TONE. A telltale sign you're not familiar with it is to pronounce it as Boca RA-TAHN.
Add it to my list of towns I don’t pronounce correctly. It’s tough when just passing through and never been places before.
Hey from Cape Coral. Looks like so much fun. If I remember correctly the tide change from high tide to low tide is a lot larger than on the Gulf. I remember driving over to Ft Lauderdale with friends to met up with others who had already gone across the state on the ICW. When I got off their boat that was in the marina the tide had come in so much. I had to pretty much step onto the top of the piling and down to get on the dock. Wow! They were going to go to the Bahamas. Fun times.
Thank you, for sharing your journeys with all of us!
It's great seeing young people out on the water, and actually building their own boat. Very cool!
Good to see young guys doing old school fun things down by the water.Too many are sitting home fooling with TikTok and what not.
Looks like an awesome place to hang out.
Thanks for sharing your story!
Looks kike Matty is enjoying the boat ride . Enjoy your trip
Getting my "Happy Ours" fix! Great Sunday morning!!
Boca is lovely. Really hope those lads' boat worked 😆 Glad to see youre having fun 👍
I'm near Jupiter, I remember when the water was like a Fiji water bottle up until 2015 and then crap visibility and algae blooms with coughing and burning eyes. Awesome
Yeah that red sky in the morning is never a good sign. Enjoying the series.
Been watching 27 episodes to see y'all get to LaBelle. My dad grew up there. After Labelle, you went through the Fort Denaud turntable bridge. What a great trip. Really nice channel. Just low key, great video, good people. Keep living the dream folks!
Jesus mate fuel usage is brutal glad I have a 34 ft diesel engine single screw
It's fun but you are all shark bait.. For real😂🎉
Just out of curiousity, did you have cell service at the Sand Hole? Thanks!
Yes we did. You aren’t far from town.
@@AdventuresofHappyOurs Awesome, I plan to camp there on my skiff but needed connectivity, just in case. Was this T-Mo or Verizon? Thanks for the info.
@Cain-x we have Verizon and I don’t recall issues.
hello sir! loving the series. do you have a video of a boat tour of this boat? search threw your channel but didnt find it. thanks
I don’t think I ever did a full walkthru. I’ll work on that!
Such a nice and easy trip. Bridges and Navionics don't match up, even on our lake it is off. Great time thanks again!
Are you sure those aren't the old locks systems.
Someone explained what they were in another post. Bridges for the farmers to get across who live there?
Thanks for sharing your trip it was very interesting to watch How long was the whole trip on the ICW from NY to Fla in time ? Had to take weeks right?
NY to Florida was about 6 weeks. Stopped along the way for breaks here and there.
I wouldn’t do that ocean leg alone
At least I was still in radio and cell contact. Over by the Everglades, you have no radio contact.
@@AdventuresofHappyOurs enjoy watching thanks
