    I know I’m late to the party, but I had same issue this week. Tracked it down to internally leaking heat exchange. Coolant was going right out exhaust with the raw water. Confirmed that once I removed the side cap to the heat exchanger where I discovered the orange coolant leaking from a few of the cooling tubes. Break out another thousand.

    Love your channel. I own a 26 express & need to change batteries for first time. No gen. What batteries do you recommend?

  • @AdventuresofHappyOurs
    @AdventuresofHappyOurs18 сағат бұрын

    That’s a tough question. Depends on your boat, battery charger and needs. Does your charger support AGM batteries? Those are maintenance free for most part but not all chargers support AGM charging profiles. If you were happy with the batts you had, replace with like for like.

    Wow, you’re getting into mechanic level work. Ya save many $$$ doing it yourself. Good job. You don’t strike me as a mechanic in your past career 😂🤪. KZread has been soooo useful helping me with “engineering “ projects I encounter. At least you have the confidence to tackle it yourself 👍👍

    The diode check is NOT OHMS it is voltage drop across the leads(The meter sends a small voltage out) Second I noticed your copper in the earth line has turned black @1:41 ... there is your problem..... Replace your green earth wires... both of them.

    Any gators in this lake / area ? As a tourist I always hear the worst stories. Essentially avoid any canals or fresh water areas. The locals seem to have less fear than the snowbirds. I tend to just stay at the beach resorts in Hallandale Beach and Hollywood.

    You have to learn to pronounce Boca Raton the proper way lol. Everyone in Florida, regardless where they're originally from pronounces it Boca RA-TONE. A telltale sign you're not familiar with it is to pronounce it as Boca RA-TAHN.

    Hey from Cape Coral. Looks like so much fun. If I remember correctly the tide change from high tide to low tide is a lot larger than on the Gulf. I remember driving over to Ft Lauderdale with friends to met up with others who had already gone across the state on the ICW. When I got off their boat that was in the marina the tide had come in so much. I had to pretty much step onto the top of the piling and down to get on the dock. Wow! They were going to go to the Bahamas. Fun times.
