  This series received so much unnecessary hate because of the age gap and has been deliberately snubbed because of it. Hyping up other GLs and brining this one down when all the arguments were about age gap but if we check the technicalities, there's also issue with the ages for TSOU and GAP lol. (and also how Yoko looked so young. Mind you, Yoko is 23 years old. Even older than the other actressess in the GL industry. It's not her fault she has a babyface.) Is the novel lowkey problematic? Yes. But that's why the adaptation doesn't even really follow the novel. Changes were made as well as adjustments. They actually handled the age gap topic quite well and how they dealt with all the other issues that came with it. The first few episodes of s1 might be off-putting because of how childish Yoko's character is but I hope it doesn't turn people off because it actually has its own explanation later own. I just hope people will give it a chance more. This series deserves better! Bonus points for all the casts being good actors especially the two main ladies.
