Our blog for Camino de Santiago - throughourlookingglass.ca
Software used in all our videos has been and still is Photodex - ProShow Producer. The company has rebranded itself . It now calls itself Photopia and rents itself out rather then selling the software. (Not to be confused with Photopea)

Nice video, thansk.
Well done. Brings back good memories!
Thank you for sharing your journey and your blog. I have enjoyed following along. Congratulations, marvellous effort and a great adventure. We start our walk end April and are looking forward to it. Bon chemin for the future.
Thank you so much! April should be gorgeous. Green, flowers and cooler temperatures. Bon chemin coming up.
Hi. Fellow Canadian here. It appears you took the train to Lyon directly from the airport? Is my assumption correct?
YES It was so easy taking the train from Charles de Gaul Airport to Lyon. We stayed overnight near the train station and took the train the next day to Etienne where we transferred to a bus to Le Puy. The bus was easy to find at the Etienne train station. We bought the bus ticket ahead of time. Here’s what Judy wrote in her blog. - throughourlookingglass.ca/index.php/2023/08/31/a-new-journey-begins/
Congratulations, amazing . Happy Birthday also. Thanks for the videos , my husband and I will be following in your footsteps in September this year
Awesome! Thank you! Hope you get clear weather that is is around 22-27 degrees. The mornings are usually cool, being inland. Sometimes it's best to pack a breakfast and get away earlier as it can really get hot after noon. Hottest from 2-5 p.m.
@@OurSeaToSkyTravels Thank you for the tips
Thanks for sharing your video. I will be going there in Jan 2024 so it is nice to have an idea what to expect. I am glad you mentioned that there are no toilet facilities, always have to keep that in mind.
Have fun! If you wander off on your own, watch out for dogs. I got bite silently. I thought was a branch I triped over. I turned to see a dog running away. Got me above the ankle. Wasn't too bad. Went to the medical station on our ship.
Was there in 1958 for a few days, courtesy of a Royal Navy L S T, did some work for the atomic tests at Christmas Island. Didn’t see much of Fanning, but found a white scorpion , and I was 20 years old, today I’m 86.
Super
Super thanks

I really liked Ketchikan better than Juneau. It was more interesting.
Song by MASSIVE ATTACK: www.myspace.com/massiveattack according to KZread. I don't know the title.
Nicely done with the music... what is this song, I've missed it so much?
The group is Massive Attack. The song, I don't know.
great accomplishment for the 2nd time - I loved this video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Enhorabuena, por su éxito en el Camino. Felicitaciones. 🤗🙋♂️☑️🇲🇽

If you have a medical emergency in these mountains, call 112, the number for emergency services. Somebody will come to help you.

Hi there, great videos for sure. I wonder if you were satisfied with the hygine in the rooms, the pools and the buffet? was the food good? thanks a lot
We thought it was all very good. It was certainly up to our Canadian standards.🙂
NICARAGUA BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY 🇳🇮🚢🚢🚢🇳🇮❤
Great video 📹 👍 I'm currently researching cruise ships from Panama to Jamaica 🇯🇲 I can't seem to find anything 😕 please help by recommending any if you know 🙏
I doubt that you can actually sail specially from one port to another on a cruise ship as they would charge for the entire package. There may be local ferries that sail amongst the islands.
@@OurSeaToSkyTravels thanks so much for your feedback 😀
Muy buen video. Felicidades. 🤗🙋♂️☑️
Well done! .... I stayed overnight at the San Zoilio myself back in 2019 and loved everything about it.
This seems to be a very impressive place, I hope I can visit sometime in the future when all this is over. Seeing and sharing places like this is why I love traveling and make videos so much! And please keep up the great job! Subscribed!!
Ok 👍🤗🙋♂️☑️🇲🇽, Felicitacion.

Just beautiful. Thanks do much for sharing.
There is also Dean Park 1 -kzread.info/dash/bejne/jKN6r5qLYqnScrg.html
Very beautiful, it was lovely to stumble across your video and be able to enjoy this "virtual" hike in Jean Dean park ... the perfect distraction from being in this pandemic quarantine !
Awesome, thank you!
Beautiful! What program did you use to create this?
Photodex ProShow Gold and Producer. I have had the software for many years. The company's business plan wasn't working by simply selling the software as there wasn't any reason to bother to upgrade. so they stopped and changed their business plan to renting the software under the name of Photopea. ProShow Producer was about 200 US dollars 8 years ago and 50 dollars to upgrade. They appear to be renting it for 100 dollars per year now. .photopia.nl/photopia-creator/
Beautiful scenery and outstanding photography!
Thanks John
MAGNIFIQUES PHOTOS MERCI
Thank you so much for sharing! Am loving your beautiful pictures! What month did you start your pilgrimage?
Thanks for watching. We started to walk on September 10 and we spent 48 days in all to complete the journey. That was about 15 -18 days longer then the average and it was well worth it. No blisters and we feel that we really saw the country without rushing through.

I'm sure it's noted somewhere in your blog, but wondering what cameras did you both use?
Hi! We had a Canon G11 and a Nikon Coolpix 10x. The Canon broke and was replaced in Burgos with a Sony.
Because of the weight of our SLRS, we have opted for higher level 'point and shoots'. Both our cameras take 1280 videos(that's a must), 12 and 18 thousand mega pix., high iso capability and small with 10 and 20 opt. zooms. I also use Corel PaintShop to enhance - crop and especially to correct perspective. Also, I save all pics as uncompressed or slightly compressed jpegs. Weight is important when trying to keep our packs to 10 percent of our body weights.
Thanks for that info David. I'm heading off for my first Camino Sept. this year. Hoping to get some reasonable results with my Sony Cyber-shot and my iPhone 6. Love my Nikon DSLR, but not prepared to carry that sort of weight! :) Am enjoying your blog and KZread videos immensely! (not finished yet)
Good music to go along with gorgeous photos. Those little stone churches are a real treasure. I like the way the sheep have little blue designer marks on their hind quarters.
