@@CP-rj5bs Standard tuning, yes. Don't have tabs, I learned this simply by hearing. May or may not upload tabs on Ultimate Guitar at some point, but that depends if I got time. I'm probably not playing it 100% accurate though.

Late response, but I just messed around in Guitar Rig and got this tone somehow, no secret formula. Believe I had pretty new strings too, standard issue ernie slinkies 55-110. Could be wrong. Sold the bass though, you bet I regret it.

It's actually Brann who sings this one, plus his performance live is much worse. Hard to sing and play drums at the same time.

@@GodUd6589 Agreed, drums and singing is worse...but Troy does sing in most songs, including this one. I think he jumps in for the chorus on this but Brann sings the whole thing.

@@goosegaskins I've loved how versatile I can make the tone. I play in an alternative rock band where I ended up switching tones in a lot of songs, so having the p/j flexibility with the active switch has been awesome. In the senior center country band I do, I usually leave it splitting the pick ups and it holds up great. It doesn't have the best of either p or j, but the versatility is exactly what I wanted.

QuarterCircleForward not really no :/ Had to un-tilt the neck pickup closest to the low E, also had to adjust the bridge a bit.

@@dankgundam7833 I imagine with action set up low for standard tuning.. it might cause some problem when tuning to drop C... But I've never tuned to drop C. Like you I prefer low action for finger playing but can cope with higher action for heavier stuff when played with a pick
