When I first heard this song, I started to cry... In my opinion, it is about the great love someone can feel and they are afraid to to tell them openly but they'd do anything for them; they're afraid to get hurt if they told them; according to the comments it is about Jesus and God though I do not think so - however, I respect your perception.
