Nice video 😊
3of7 project did this a while back. Keep safe people. Woke ,trans things out there hunting for normal people😮
I just recently started carrying a fast back with my pocket knife. I really enjoy it so far. It is great for doing stuff i don't want to do with my knife. The only reason i still carry a regular knife is because i sometimes need a longer blade. But i think they are super underrated
The MOLLE system is awesome! You can personalize and redesign it whenever you want. I bought two Brandit tactical sling bags, a black one for work, and a dark camo version for day trips and amusement parks, etc. I recently bought some really small pouches in matching colors to carry my KeySmart and rescue knife on the outside for easy access. As someone who likes to travel as light as possible, a sling bag is preferable over a bulky rucksack.
Been doing this for years I work at bike shop always have a bike people get a bike ASAP MARKET PLACE gas stations and road ways will be no good GET A BIKE 🚳🚲🚳
Nice video my good man.
please don’t run steel plates
I agree but for the price and stopping power back in the day steel was the best. But yes now that there is better plates I need to save up and switch to none steel. But better than nothing until I can switch out. Which brand or make model plates would you recommend?
@@TutCote i’m no pro so i’d recommend contacting apex armor solutions or someone who specializes in that arena.
@@TutCote I picked up LA police gear, level IV really great plates for the money. There are people that have done videos on them and torture tested them and they hold up.
@@TutCotedoes your steel have that coating to prevent spalling?
@unitedwestanddividedwefall3521 Yes at least they do have an anti Spalling coating. But they are heavy! Older I get heavier they get. I need to save for some new armor fabric lighter plates. It's just better to have some steel for now than nothing I feel.
Your a vet and don't know how to pronounce molle??
When I got in we didn't have molle and when i was in the reserve we did I was told mole and now I mess up getting older and say mole.. my bad. I will make sure to say it correctly thank you
Great overview of the myriad pouches that you see online and in the shops. Thanks!
The chest rig you have is one I see fits my liking. Where can I find it
It was from Amazon I think I linked to below.
I would not purchase this rig, I have one and there is a reason why they are 30 dollars, they are cheap, not IR compliant and the stitching quality is not good, mine tearing and has been ever since the first month, even though I barely used it, you’d be much better with a Haley Strategic, or spiritus, or pretty much the majority of rigs
Stands out too much for my taste but Great idea. Go black or Grey. Same with Bags and gear. The ideas is to attract less attention. If I see you on that, easy target. Take it from a vet.
Don’t wanna be all black either mall ninjas isn’t a good idea
Looking for a compact utility knife that I can put on my keychain. Any suggestions.
I like this one for utility knife amzn.to/49xR0tl And this one for regular knife amzn.to/3vYpG91
EARTH TONE YOUR PAINT JOB OR CAMOUFLAGE, YOUR BIKE WILL STICK OUT, PAINT THE MED KIT...NO BRIGHT ANYTHING.
I rode a bugout bike from Florida to California and back last year.
Wow that's incredible! Do you have a KZread or videos of how it went?
Really? How long did it take for you to get there?

Pronounce the “mole” pouches as “molly” please
Sorry about that. So back 30+ years ago when our PALS gear in the Army was replaced by Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment or M.O.L.L.E We all called it that. Later civilian companies started making and selling it started calling it Molly when it became made by and sold to the civilian public and I still forget and call it by its acronym. Mole pouches. Old habit. But yes I will say Molly in the future as you are correct thank you.
you must be a Karen.
Excellent 👍
Honda xr150l you're welcome
But it's $3,000! Dollars. And makes motorcycle noise. This bike was a recycled deal and it's super quiet. Possibly an electric motorcycle or bike. But thanks great idea
Whats the yellow/ivory handled folding utility knife all way to the left?
It doesn't have a name on it. I bought it on ebay years ago so no longer in stock or inventory. Sorry about that.
I think it is a smart idea. Why would it be a bad idea to get 40 km in a day to safety? As your idea grows, I think a lighter bike should be considered apart from that, this is good.
Great prep work! Seems like a great dude willing to help out beginners
Tactical hobo
I never thought of this but damn thats acaully smart. Question is would an electric bike come in handy if you had a way of recharging the battery? Idk, Just thought of that after watching this. Also curious if this is for a long term scenario or if its for short term
Electric would be awesome. And a solar charger if it was long term. I just thought it would be quiet and able to get supplies on or have on my bike rack and if there's no more gas I can at least ride faster than people walking. Just something to keep just in case.
@@TutCote I get that, I didnt even think of that myself. That is smart for long term but i also feel like at that point it comes down to caloric intake and energy burnt? Idk, im new to this prepping stuff but that got me thinking for my scenario. Thats awesome though
Bob's front fork looks to be backwards I think
Thank you it's weird but they seem to come that way. Maybe assembled incorrectly but came like that from the store. But I will check it out though. Thanks!
What are the spikes made of?
Old metal motorcycle sprocket.
What is the 7th blade from right on the bottom row?
I'm sorry I don't remember. It opens an uses a replaceable razer blade. But it has no name on it and i can't remember the name. It was something on ebay that I saw so I bought it.
i think this is a really good idea if you are always cutting boxes. i js carry my pocket knife for self defense.
Some people use their knives for work lol I use mine to cut my food at lunch
Cool!
What is the brand on the bike ?
Oh shoot it has no marks anymore and I got it so long ago I can't remember I'm sorry if I remember I will post I will look over the bike and see if I can find anything
I just switched to carrying a utility knife at work this week instead of a pocket knife. I work as a purchaser/shipping and receiving agent, so we are always getting boxes. I was tired of wearing down my blades cutting down boxes, so I picked up a TiRant Razor M. It's so tiny and lightweight that I don't even notice it in me. I opted to get one without a clip and just keep it in my little watch pocket, it's a perfect fit!
Utility knives are stupid
Why? I use mine every day. It's always sharp and always in my pocket.
Much more convenient if you're needing to cut stuff all day long. I went from sharpening my knife at least once a week to simply replacing a razor blade for 2 cents. Calling a utility knife stupid would be like calling a ballpoint pen stupid. You could have a beautiful fountain pen, but you have to be more careful with it, there's more upkeep/maintenance involved, and in the end, it's really performing the same task as the cheap ballpoint pen.
That sucker is gonna fail. Too many gimmicks.
I've been using it for about a year and so far so good. I removed the blanket but everything else is still going good. Thanks for the feedback.
I would add panniers and camping gear
The only thing I see wrong is the backwards forks, other than that it’s a great idea!
It came from the store like that?? Lol... thanks for the info. I will now go try turning them around and see if I can and if it changes the ride. Thank you for the help.
I'm waiting for my bike to be ready, summer project,😁
solid advice! just came across your channel, i'm lovin it all.
I have the second pouch you put your phone in, the one with the full frontal flap. It's a great pouch as I have a writing stick up notepad and notebook with some extra pens and a sharpie pen and two different colored high-lighter pens as well in the back pocket. In the front pocket, I keep small travel size Advil containers with both Advil in one and some medications in the others and vitamins in another. Medications is for allergies as I'm suffering the worst allergies this year than I've ever had and my allergies are in maximum overdrive to say the least. In the front flap pocket, I also keep a half dozen nitrite gloves in a zip locked sandwich bag in case I need them as well as some small bandaids and alcohol wipes in a sandwich bag too...hey, you never know when youll get a boo boo. I wear this pouch on my duty belt at the 10-11 "o clock" position so its readily accessible. A great pouch and thanks for sharing the video...👍👍
Yes CA power outages can be a challenge in the summer heat! We have a generator etc...But this concerned mom wants to gift something simple enough so my adult children, who are clueless, could use for emergencies. You gave me some great ideas. Thank you...Subscribed.
amzn.to/40Dd7tu Here's another solar panel I use that works an lasts as the one in the video sales out fast.
amzn.to/40Dd7tu here's another panel I have tried that works good and lasts. That panel in the video is good but sells out fast.
Thanks this helps. I want a solar panel for the buyout bag but I want it a little bigger and can charge faster? I’m still learning about these. Send any suggestions if you get a chance
amzn.to/40Dd7tu I would suggest this one for its size, power, price and the one I have seems to last. It's just big enough to hang with 550 cord or some small D rings to your pack to charge while hiking or can still fit inside your pack. Then get it out as needed. Another more than 10 watts just gets to big to fit in your pack. But if you don't need it to fit in a pack just putting in a window then you can go a little larger just make sure its usb and has a 5v regulated power output but at 5v usb and just a couple amps charging 10 watt is about your all around best option. Hope that helps. Good luck!
My knife has both utility on one side and knife on the other side
Do you happen to have a link or information on it I would like to check it out and try to buy one. Thank you.
@@TutCoteI have one too it's the husky sporting knife from home depot
Love it! Give that boy a rattle can camo paint job and your all set
Theres a nice OTF auto utility knife you can get from china. Or so I've heard...
It's true. I got one and I love it.
@@kevikimble1311 they are pretty cool.
@@kevikimble1311which one?
This is the first person that I’ve heard to talk about using a bike. Everybody wants to walk from the get go. Over here I was trying to figure out what foldable bike I should get.
@@leydle foldable bike seems even better idea thanks 😊
I need a zombie catcher attached to the front
Why add... DEAD WEIGHT? ;)
I carry both a utility knife and folder, most of the time while working. Great short review.
Thank you for this indepth video! You gave me a direct alternative/upgrade to one of the pouches I already owned here! The one with the front phone pouch that is clip on and fits your phone snug? I had one of the snaps stitching come undone from the top of the strap and without any extra D rings or anything, it was a bit useless for my use case after that. In a rush to replace it, I found for very cheap a large unsold stock of these brown Vans "New Varsity" crossbody bags that have snaps on the back as well as an extra clip on the top of the bag for multiple ways of wearing it. They are slightly wider and deeper than the previous and have been really useful since then. Thank you for the alternatives! Definitely checking them out right now!
Hey, thanks for sharing! The internet is overwhelming with choice. So there's two or three pouches which look similar here, how can I find them and distinguish from one another? I'd also be interested how the last pouch is inside
Sorry took so long to respond been moving and stuff. I put links in my comments so you should be able to find them. I will try to do another video with more pouches as I have more now to review. Thank you!
Nicely done! Have a couple of the items in my shopping cart.
What brand chest rig do you recommend?
I use a combination rig. It has an area in back for mags and the pouch in front for gear. Then I attach gear on the sides of it as needed. As I am not sure what the future holds I want to be as flexible and as adaptable as possible. So universal rigs work best for me. I can go to the range or desert and practice with it on weekends or throw it in my truck Monday to Friday as an additional get home support rig if things go really bad. Good luck an thanks for the question.
