No small table in cabin for room service?
@CruiseTravelVideosАй бұрын
Although common on cruise ships of this class, the cabin layout isn't the most practical. It's actually inconvenient for room service trays. Additionally, the small table from the balcony can be used. (Even though we adapted easily, we gave up some habits on this cruise.) Have a great time onboard! Thank you for watching!

A very helpful video. Thank you. Question about "Bramante" shuttle bus stop behind Fort Michelangelo: Do the busses behind Fort Michelangelo also have signs in front that show the ship they go to? Or does one bus take you to all of the ships in the main (4-ship) area, with passengers getting off when the bus arrives at their ship? Is there any advantage in going to Largo della Pace, instead?

Thanks for the review! Do regular sized suitcases fit under the bed?
@CruiseTravelVideos4 ай бұрын
Hi! There is no difference in the size of the beds, including the space underneath, I had 30 inch suitcases, they fit well. But, access is only done under the "footboard", and the space in front of the beds is rather small (if they are handled often, it becomes frustrating - I say this because in our case the storage space in the cupboards was not enough so that the "storage" under the bed had to be accessed all the time). And on the carpet, in front of the beds, things gradually accumulate, shoes, shopping bags, water packs and many others... Sorry for the long answer, I hope it helps. Thank you for watching!

Hello! I don't have a clear confirmation for 2024, but in previous years (2023, 2022, '19, '18 etc) the train platform for Civitavecchia remained the same. We arrive the Civitavecchia station with the 6 Euro bus ticket and stood in the sun for 2 hours waiting for the bus. Only bus is exclusive for Norwegian and MSC every 45 minutes. There is no bus to the port entrance. Most people give up by walking to the gate for 30 minutes 0.8 miles or take a taxi. Even at the gate, we have to wait another 45 minutes go get transported inside the port to a tent 0.4 miles from berth 12e. We just finished joining a cruise from Rome ( Civitavecchia) in August 2023. Do not buy the 6 Euro bus ticket to the port bus, there is no bus take you to the gate and there is no one you can ask questions. We stood in the hot sun for 2 hours and no bus. The white bus comes every 40 minutes and only go the Norwegian and MSC ships. Most people have to walk the 0.8 miles with luggage to the gate or share a high price taxi for the 10 minute ride to the gate. At the gate, you have to wait another 45 minutes to board a bus to your ship. What a mess.

I tried to listen to it several times but I couldn’t understand it. You were either speaking too fast and your accent , I couldn’t understand. Please help. Thx.
@CruiseTravelVideos Жыл бұрын
Hi! The name of the fastest train (45'-47') is Frecciabianca. It is the most comfortable but also the most expensive - the "good" tickets are bought some time in advance, online; often these "good" tickets are sold out. The other trains are "Regionale" (very frequent but it is the slowest and cheapest; it stops at all stations) and "Intercity" (not so frequent, it takes about 48 minutes and the quality is between the two above). The chosen train is related to several factors (such as price or comfort). But the most important factor is time. I know that when I arrive at the station I find at least one available train. All these are available on the official website of the Italian Railway Company. It is available in English. Link: www.trenitalia.com/en.html Don't worry, everything is very easy. Remember to stamp the ticket on the platform (if it is bought at the station). If it is bought online, stamping is not necessary. Have a great time and a safe trip!

Same with the separate toilet. The cabin sink was at a very odd area outside of the shower. The worst part about the cabin was being vibrated out of bed when the ship was docking. The noise was unbelievable. The views were spaectacular. I will never forget looking out at Mount Vesuvius while docked in Naples. The cruise was really good. Food was also good. The cost was a few Euro . Do you mean there is no train directly to the port?
@CruiseTravelVideos Жыл бұрын
Hi. Thank you for your comment. I said it right. There is no direct shuttle bus between the train station and the terminals. This information also is stated on the port's official website. 1. The only way from the train station is to take a city bus for a fee (€3 adult/children free) to the Largo della Pace Service Center. 2. Then change to the free shuttle bus associated with each cruise company that will take you to the pier. (You can choose to walk from the train station to the Largo della Pace Service Center to take the free shuttle bus - which I also showed in the clip) Just came back again so all the infos are rechecked. This information is for general cruisers. There are transfers in particular cases that do not apply to everyone - they differ depending on the time of year, the number of passengers on a certain day, luxury cruises. I didn't talk about those in the video.
