15:57 its strange that he mocks a customer for that while there website clearly states "notice up to a 20% reduction in fuel consumption."
2m or 2.4m version ?
It was the first version produced. I don’t know exactly the dimensions
Where was the camp?
All the clues are in the video..
Is that the small one or the large?
Hi mate. The first model released by drifta Stockton.. bought it over 2 years ago.
Amazing camp site
What size hole saw did you use when drilling the two holes in the fender guard.
Hi I don’t t exactly remember it’s been a while. We used safari snorkel instruction, you can download it online their website.
Nothing in order.... bad filming. A lot of unnecessary talking
Very bad filming ... audio.... and nothing done in order. All you had to do was take pictures of your instructions and present them as a lot of snorkles come without instructions.
Good on you mate!! How about you spread your love somewhere else!! See you later champ
Northern done in order. Filming all too close. Need to use pointer and use marker to show people where and what you are talking about. Another of unnecessary filming going on. For those who did not receive instructions, need to take pictures of instructions for us to read as your instructions are useless
Mate that is absolutely stunning. Don't suppose you want to share the love and location? 🙂
Hi mate I got asked many times to not reveal the location. You can find many clues in the full video on my channel.
@@leridotte I figured that may have been your reply, but always worth an ask! I'll get my detective glasses on and have a watch 🙂
Good day mate . 1 quick question, can we drive without doors n roof but have side mirrors attached to A pillar, in sydney ,N.S.W.
I don’t think you can. Check online I don’t know nsw rules about that. We were in a private property.
Any chance you could semd me a pin of that campsite please
Sorry I was asked to not share the location. There are plenty of clues in the video. If you know the area it’s easy to find. Please keep it clean
@leridotte yeah fair enough respect that
Great review I was worried about the draws opening and dust getting into my set up if I went that way. Do you know if they fixed up their web page as I see it as $135 for bag and protective mat.
Hi Some dust will always gets in. Yes the website is updated! All the best!
Great u showed the track in detail, thanks, i got subi 4wd wagon , showing this made it clear maybe bit hectic for it 👍
I’m glad that the video helped! 🤙
Hey mate love the Paj, got an NX too in Sydney, what’s all your mods including tyres and lift? Do you have bash plates
I sold the Pajero almost 2 years ago!! I made a small video after I sold it with all the mods I have done to it.. check it out
can u buy the pass at the gate
Not anymore only online
@@leridotte only is only have 1 yrs pass
Is the safari instruction manual accurate with this snorkel install?
Yes. It’s the exact copy of the safari
Did you have the instructions link?
It doesn’t come with instructions. I used the pdf from safari
This is hands down one of the best 4wd channels on yt, it's authentic content and just all round good vibes. You really make me want to jump in my rig right now and visit these old tracks that I haven't explored in donkey's years. Beautiful country around the Watagans, despite the mess all these grubs leave behind. It would be an absolute pleasure to wheel with you guys sometime in the future.
Thanks mate
You can send me a message on Instagram for further trips
Shame you didn't get a secondhand Dmax, far better than a Navarra in my opinion
Well everyone has different taste
Great vid mate Straya
Cheers
What stops it blowing in the wind please? Also, are there legs at the front too stop it bouncing?
There are no legs - no need for legs even in windy conditions. The 2 a frame “arms” are strong enough
Love your videos
Thanks Jason Hope we can go for another trip together soon
Hi mate, that's a beautiful camping spot, do you mind sharing the location? The description says that you've added Google map directions but I can't find them.
Hi There are few clues in the video. Few locals asked me to keep it low key.. I can’t share the exact location sorry. If you are familiar to the area it’s easy to find
Hi mate, lovely video! Do you happen to have the location for the section you showed at 9:45? I would truly appreciate it! Wanna go there this week but I've been struggling to find any fun 4L sections! Thanks a lot buddy!
It’s at the beginning of the main dirt road.. there are few tracks on the right (if you are coming from the GW highway) Be mindful there are cameras in some areas!
☀️ *Promo sm*
Track names please
Hi It’s pretty straightforward - all the details are in the video
In the shanties there the people grow cannabis
good on them
Some awesome tracks out there mate, well done. New subscriber, cheers 👍
Great camera work 👍👍
Thanks mate
We drove the 6 Foot just last Saturday (18th of November). It is a great area to explore. Great Video as usual. Here is a little location for you: -33.767764, 150.373992
Thanks Brett - much appreciated
Good trip mate 👍👍
Thanks Shad
Nice car mate. What made you get rid of the Hilux?
Hi mate.. good question, the luxy was a 2009, without lockers. I did an engine rebuilt already and I didn't want to spend more money on a car that was already quite old, I never really loved the look
@@leridottethanks for the reply. good decision, really. You end up chasing your tail trying to fix all the things that are failing through use and age.
@@JarradDRS I was lucky to sell the luxy for a decent amount.. I lost money when I had to rebut he engine. The Nav has only 80k on the clock! It was a good buy. But I always wanted a patrol!!!
Nice work its looking good👏👏 can you give some info later on about fridge running time for your fridge and how many amps it uses or watts it draws.
I don’t know exactly how much it draws.. I have been using it only 3 times and mostly in cold wether or with the car running. Quite small, I don’t think it will dews many amps to be honest
Ha. You went to the old homestead. I went there with my 4WD club in 2021. I saw it wasn't on Google Maps so made it so. I can't say I found Abercrombie that interesting. It was certainly steep and tested your hill skills in spots but otherwise I like other parks more.
It’s an easy drive. I could get challenging in wet conditions
I stayed at that trashed site a bit over a year ago now and i thought it was bad then. It's even worse in your video. That shit drives me insane! Don't come out to these gorgeous locations and trash them. It's beyond me why they go to enjoy something but destroy it on their way through. You're a legend for grabbing what you could. Keep up the good work!
Thanks mate. It’s getting worse everywhere unfortunately
Ciao frattelo my name is Franco love the videos I have an ln106 turbo hilux that I love to test out on alot of the tracks u drive if your interested in a wheel let me no
I love u ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ wow wow❤❤
hey mate, wonderful video how do you get to the top of the mountain? sorry im new to the whole 4x4 camping scene thanks
Google the name of the lookout. If you go there please help with the clean up!! Thanks
Great video! The part where you’re unzipping the awning and getting stretcher out of bag would look great speed up! Keep the pace going 😅
Great Videos can you tell me what brackets you use on your Canopy cross bars that connect to your Drifta 270 awning thanks Adam
Love it up there. But unfortunately another place getting trashed by idiots! I've had many people ask me how to get up there. I refuse to tell them for that reason! Bloody disgusting how its treated. Everytime im up there, im filling bags with rubbish! The way I look at it, if you find how to get up there, enjoy and look after the place. Its usually the ones that are up there on an adventure that respect the place. The rest are just grubs! Keep the videos coming mate👌
Thanks mate By the rubbish I picked up that day it seams that the grubs are a young crowd… plus the amount of trees that are cutting down it’s quite disturbing
great footage mate - daughter and I will be there in mid Nov ‘23 - hope to have as much fun as you did in this vid 👌
It’s a great spot.. the Cox river it’s quite low at the moment - plenty of tracks and campsites
The Kurrajong entrance is open again? The last few drives I had down there were via the Bilpin entrance only due to the wet weather and landslides on the Kurrajong way. We entered via the Kurrajong entrance a couple of years ago and it was damp and slippery. A couple had ventured half way down in a little Peugeot front wheel drive. I couldn't see how they'd get back up that way that day.
You can enter from the big TV antenna. I don’t know the actual name of that entrance. The track It’s been graded last year!
@@leridotte Yeah ok. That's the Kurrajong entrance. It was the most direct when I lived in the Hawkesbury.
The grubs are everywhere in the bush. I don't get it. The places we can see with a 4WD are so nice but some just have to leave rubbish and spoil it. Great video, I've been up that way a few times but never up the mountain. It's a great drive coming up through Wisemans Ferry and Upper Mangrove to get there. Lots of Convict construction still visible.
Thanks for the comment! It’s extremely painful to see the amount of rubbish in the bush.. we all have to do our part to make a change!
@@leridotte I 100% agree. I live at Wentworth Falls now and while it's beautiful here and the locals are proud, you still see rubbish around or cats coming out from the bush. It blows my mind how humans treat the country.
Great drive from Wisemans ferry through yengo national park then up the back of Pokolbin from Wollombi 👌
looks pretty neat the material looks sturdy. the welds on the bars look well done. love the decal
It’s a good awning.. just missing some pockets and a dry section like others brands are doing. Great structure
Nice ! Is that ben bullen?
Hi Not Ben bullen another one close to the great W highway
Idk why but i just love the looks of old commo’ wags. Especially in white with the black steelies.
He added a snorkel to it too!! Mad commodore owner
Is itt 2wd accessible??
Yes mate. Both way, but I will recommend to come in from the main entrance
As long as you have decent ground clearance you will be right
