  No, there was a review on Northridge4x4 that the guy showing how to mod it to make it fit flush so I did the same thing. Been fine so far without any issues and I really like the looks of these taillights.

  I switched to Traxxas blue arms. They're stronger plastic I believe.

  @Joshua Burgess I think they're the same, just the color for cooler looking as XRT comes with wide kit as standard.

  After 3 months, my right tail light threw an error message on the dash saying right rear lamp out and it blinked rapidly. Contacted the seller and they refunded me. Before deciding to buy another set, I wannna give it a try by installing a resistor to see if it will fix it and yes, it worked.

  Considering the GTR mini as a option for my wife’s 2019 highlander. How much trimming has to be done to the dust cap and have you experienced any overheating issues with the bulb being in a sealed housing with no airflow over the heatsink???

  Only trim a little and never experienced overheating issues.

  Can buy smaller bulb so no need to cut the cap

  any reason you didn't go with the Ultra or Ultra 2? I'm considering the Ultra for my 2017 Limited because it does not have a fan to keep the noise quiet. Thanks for the video!

  I know the Ultra 2 is much brighter, but I chose this because it's small and I want to be able to use the original dust cap.

  @Spacecoastz These mini leds are the smallest leds I believe and still have to trim the original caps a little to make them fit perfectly. Or you can get the aftermarket rubber caps if you don't want to trim your original caps.
