In my remake of the original saga, these would be the characters who became revanants: -Jade (killed by Sindel while protecting Kitana); -Nightwolf (sacrificed himself to purify Sindel by taking her corruption and release Kitana's life force back to her); -Kung Lao (killed by Shao Khan during the final battle before Liu Kang could arrive, though I do feel tempted to have him become an ally of Dark Raiden); - Cyborg Smoke (killed by Outworld's main warriors, though he's a different kind of Revenant, since Quan Chi's magic gave him that appearance of his we see in "MK: Deception and Armageddon"); -Jax ( killed by Sindel, though he's purified later).
