    Wat kind of endmill is that? How many flutes? I'm asking because the feed per tooth would be ridicoulisly high if it is only a 3 flute.

  • @cyber2526

    Propably 5, but i’m sure some endmill can survive that chip load, i gave had a 2 flute survive like .4 per tooth

    Poor programming crippled that vf-SS Needed more smoothing tolerance to reduce code, p1 posted for motion control speed and hsm turned on. My standard 09 vf is faster than that (But still not as fast as the driver! Yikes)

    @@cyber2526 i got a funny feeling there was some crippling baked into the code, my standard vf2 moves smoother than their vf2ss did, tem g187's make a BIG change in the motion when roughing! toss in the HSM option (or not) and its really magnifyed!

  • @cyber2526
    @cyber2526 Жыл бұрын

    @@brianwaayenberg3099 yeah could be, what i’m saying is that if the smoothing in the cam and tolerance and g187 is the same that the dt-1 can process code faster

    @@cyber2526 ya i would hope the cam output is the same. you can in controler furthr define what p1-p3 rounding is defined as, so thats a way of cheating/optimizing if you will. in the end though, the VF and DT controlers are identical. all haas mills are. ther may be a few parameter changes to suit each machine, but its the same boardset driving the processing/movments. ive played with several of my haas machines internal settings to optimize them over the years

    have 1 more kind of structure also very popular you not mention, it's called roller cam, i think it can good work in some power place too,espicially on "not whole round 360 degree" situation is best, such like work in Cradle tilt axis. for the cycloidal, i think it hardly to make the very big size, but the roller cam can big size. Our vertical rotable diameter 10m, it's use DD motor, have 1500000NM torque, i think it's the best choice for such size rotate table. thanks your video.
