It is very complicated.
I'm not sure if it's a change in second edition War Room but, you can use the optional rule of long range sea landings. ie move one sea space and land onto any land space, friendly or contested. This is a no brainer as it allows for lots of amphibious landings all over the world. Frustratingly it does not allow for a landings from Great Britain to France as one move so no surprise D Day landings?
I've just checked my rules and this is only possible into friendly territory.

@@robertnelson5533 I simply took a full sheet of pressboard you can find at a Lowe’s or Honey Depot, made sure it was square… and built legs. Finished with some trim. I didn’t draw up any plans.
Definitely takes up a lot of real estate to play but we'll worth it.

While the price is right, personally I wouldn’t use a whiteboard anywhere near my game components, because when you erase it, that ink comes off as a dust that gets everywhere and could potentially stain the paper/cardboard components. I much prefer to use a note-taking app on my tablet with a stylus - although the cost is obviously much higher, I’d imagine a lot of people already have some kind of a tablet around at this point.

Best house rule ever: Every victory city gets an industrial complex. No other complexes can be built. However, production is limited at each complex. Simple rule: IPC value of the territory is the number of units that may be produced. More complex rule: Multiply the IPC value of the territory by 5 for capitals and by 4 for all other territories: that is the added value of all units that may be produced. Example: India is worth 3 IPC. You can either produce any 3 units or units worth 12 IPC like 4 infantry or 3 artillery pieces.

I play call of duty regularly. Our DLC‘s are just cosmetics We haven’t paid for new maps in a long time. I used to play halo a lot and their DLC is cosmetic. Back in the 360 days we had to pay for every bit of DLC. I think it’s gotten a lot better compared to how it used to be. I remember paying $60 for call of duty world at war than About another 60 after all the DLC maps came out. Now call of duty gives you all the maps for free.. Halo just stinks now I remember walking around with the Hayabusa outfit feeling awesome because I had to work really hard to get that. Now some kid in his basement with it $10 Can get it. Idk Downloadable content does it really bother me it does bother me when it takes away from things I had to grind to earn
Depends on the game. Some games are pretty complete day 1 and Ex Packs add new scenarios and things that are fine not to have. I'm sure that other games literally chop content off so that they can sell that last faction that the game just doesn't feel right without, or some other such deal. TL;DR: Case by case basis.

Hello there! Is it possible that maybe one day you can take it out and give a tutorial video on how to play the game? Ive been trying to search for any video out there but the ones that do have a tutorial are unfortunately in a different language. So far, you could be the very first to do a tutorial on this game! :D
Is there a particular rule you need help with or the whole game?
@@thewarroom6118 Personally I believe the whole game. Rules can be interpreted here and there or easily looked over, and usually when I'm playing a game this big, I want to make sure I get it right. Now I have read the rules before but I tend to make lots of errors along the way or I blank out when reading the rules. So usually what I do is I go to tutorial videos on KZread because some people explain it WAY better than the rules. So that's why I was suggesting perhaps your next video could be a complete tutorial on how the game works and functions, and maybe a round or two of gameplay to show how everything works. I'm more of a visual/hands on learner then a read only learner. Of course, this is merely a suggestion! No disrespect or anything. If I have, my apologies!

if you are unable to do something with a unit look for the reason in the lower left corner where date and time is displayed. You could not fire arty because target not spotted. I just found this video as I was looking for WDS vids.
