Hi! We are Kali & Dario, 25 y.o based in Milan.
Since we met in 2019, we have always loved escaping from the chaotic city life to remote Italian towns.
The more we wandered, the more we realized how unknown this country is - no matter how popular.
We started this KZread channel to create a little (but strong!) community of Italy enthusiasts who, like us, are thirsty for authentic insights on this country beyond the stereotypes dominating mainstream socials.
Now, every week, we showcase a different place (either a touristic destination or forgotten corner) simply capturing life there.
We don't aim to be the main characters: we want sceneries to be.
Whether you plan your next trip to Italy or simply want to explore it from home, we hope our channel will be a valid resource for you and a place where to meet people who share your (our) pure love for this heart-warming country.

Hello Jondl, and welcome to the channel! The town is called Crema, and sits in the Cremona province, in the Lombardy region (Northern Italy). The city center is not big at all, and can be easily visited in one day. Let us know if you have any question on a specific place that appears in the video! 😊

One of my most cherished family photos is of my grandmother dressed in traditional clothing at age 19 getting ready to board the ship for America...

We actually went there for a day-trip. We live in Milan, so travelling back and forth within the same day is very convenient. 😊

Hi again Evy! We have always only travelled by bus to Ragusa, but after a quick look at Trenitalia website there appear to be a couple of options for you to get there by train. We would suggest to refer to Trenitalia website or app for more info :)
