This is the same team that wouldn't pay Zack Hyman $5.5 mil to pay on the top line. Now you won't pay Domi to do the same thing. Nope. Only $10 mil plus for top liners. Stupid

No way Domi expects 6x6. He starts high to make sure he ends up around 5-5.5/per However, 5x5 would be the most I would do and even then I bet there are cheaper guys to do the same job. Max is banking on being a decent player and the Domi name in Toronto.

Say what you will about Babcock. Bottom line is the Leafs are gutless heartless losers.

Hard to believe how weak men have become in society today…..These 3 guys should try a few weeks in Marine training. Strong men can take some abuse…..Physical and Mental and drives them to even greater strength and toughness. Its a tough world outside of a room with microphones. NHL players earning millions of dollars used to be able to take it guys!! Now its a woke culture more concerned with Pride month and rainbow tape for yes, children like Mitch Marner. Better check your testosterone levels guys.

Steve has misinterpreted the keefe comment, got offended resulting in an irrational response. The audience hardly reacted to it.

Maybe Ocon's passing maneuver was a good idea Tim, but his execution was wreckless - thats the problem.

You guys are not getting the point. Its that the media in toronto has too much influence in that franchise. Great example, Phil Kessel and tbe mass amounts of players that the media craps on, those guys get traded, and see immediate success anywhere else. Pittsburgh press is brutal too, and demand trades when somebody is playing slightly below their standard, but the franchises dont listen. And that resulted in 5 cups since Toronto's last one

Let’s not forget that Mitch wasn’t the only one to write down 3 players he thought weren’t working hard. The whole team did. He was the only one crying about it and making it a big issue though. Babs was right to not want to draft him!!!

Thats kinda disrespectful from a minor league coach that only got his job become of his friendship with another minor league gm and got an extra what 4 years of coaching because if the Leafs had "real" management him and calculater boy should've been fired after Montreal

Babcock is an obvious psychopath. Never give a guy like that power.

Nylander had a worse negotiation (sat out part of the season) but produces in the playoffs. If Marner played well in the postseason, he would be everyone’s favourite Leaf.

I'm a fan following from Europe so I miss a lot of this detail over the years. But jeez this guy sounds like a real cnut. This must have really planted some bad seeds for team morale and cohesion, which can explain why the team is nowhere near matching up to its potential.

I wouldn’t look too much into this. This mostly all speculation and conjecture. Never believe everything you hear about a person…especially when it’s just from one side of the story.

Is this a hockey podcast? Or do we just beat up on people who are not nice by our standards? Granted. The manner of Marner's treatment was harsh. But the intent wasn't. Babcock understood then. A decade ago. That men do well in the playoffs. Boys do not. Clearly, the shine boys prefer a Sheldon Keefe. The players' favorite. Whose performance is a vindication of Babcock. Boys win nothing in the playoffs. And, oh yeah, you wanna keep going on you exposee of not nice behavior. Then you better add Keenan, Crawford, Quenneville to your list. And then go all the way back to Punch Imlach.
