  That's clean but depending on what you're gonna use that pipe for there are better ways to go about it If it's only meant to transport gas it should be fine

  This is meth head level repair work. That drive train is disgusting and needs to be overhauled. Take the entire thing apart and degrease and remove the rust, then clean the threads, bolts, and the jockey wheels/cassette. Then put it back together properly.
