  Can 12speed tline explore with 4 cassette convert to 7speed cassette? Does it mean will remove the right hand shifter? Thanks for the answer

  Yes, you can convert the external 4 cassettes with 7-speed cassette to convert it from 12 to 21 speed, you will replace the LEFT shifter to a 7 speed shifter, available with H&H and Minimods.

  Also just to be picky; the H&H derailleur isn't entirely CNC - the front bit is plastic.

  Thats true, made with engineering plastic material but honestly we dont find any issues with it, as we know that their after sales support is efficient.

  @@781BromptonPremiumParts Thanks. Yes Shimano uses filled nylon so in principle that's ok. My question with these kinds of designs is always tolerances and wear; Shimano as I say uses nylon but they also often have bushings and the parts are very very precise with no movement. Still, in any case what I'm thinking is I should get rid of my RUHM and get a H&H.

  We have not tried it yet but I guess it will if you rebuild the rear wheel by adding the new internal hub. Ceramic hub bearings helps you a lot with the rolling resistance, huge difference from the stock.

  Hi William, as per Brompton "We recommend that the weight of the rider, combined with any luggage should not exceed more than 110kgs (242 lbs, or 17 stone). The load on the front luggage carrier block and/or the rear rack should not be more than 10kg (22lbs or 1 stone) each." hope that answer your question.

  Actually it is not a chain protector, it is the rear frame protector, it is to avoid scratches from your ehook when folded.

  Do you mean regular mount vs the direct mount eebrakes? For direct mount you have wider range of tire options as it can accommodate bigger tires against the regular mounts but it will be heavier due to the conversion kit needed to go on our Bromptons.

  The lower jockey wheel of the cage is so low to the ground, it seems like it would be easily damaged rubbing up against a curb or going through a pothole. Need Pinion.

  Actually it is not lower than the original yet as we have not change the original chain, it will be lower than the original once we move to 7 speed as it needs longer chain to accommodate bigger cogs.

  When I buy a Brompton T-Line, should I get the 4-speed, not the 12 speed, since I want to customize the bike with H&H Parts? I have a feeling Brompton Junction will not switch out the OEM parts for me though. I have no clue how to work on a bicycle and I live in a small studio apartment too. Also, is that a 62T chainring?

  If you can get the single speed David then that is much better as it is cheaper compared to 4 and 12s if the plan is to upgrade it with H&H

  It could be a nice option but belt drive means internal gears then you might be limited to 3 to 5 speed.

  @@781BromptonPremiumParts Yes I know about the triangle , Strange why Brompton haven’t got in touch with Rolloff to get them to produce a hub that could fit exciting and past triangle = 100 thousand bike made each year and a million sold so far = pretty sure Rolloff would see it as a massive opportunity.
