I thought this was just the coolest song in the world. Saturday night, 15, out cruising with my pals who could drive, and this song would come on. We felt pretty cool then. Never had that same feeling since those times.

The late Wayne Jackson(trumpet) was a friend of mine when I lived in Nashville. We met when I was doing an opening act for Little David Wilkins who was opening for Marty Robbins that night Wayne and I became friends that night.Later on we tried to get a TV show started which he was producing but it never got off the ground.I miss him.I met the drummer briefly one night at his house in Memphis.Great group.

Summer of 1961! I don't buy that talk that American pop and rock music were failing and "needed" the British Invasion. Nice that they showed up; but USA did quite well without them. We had R n B and rock groups and singers like Booker T and the MG's, The Drifters, Brook Benton, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Roy Orbison, Elvis, The Everly Brothers, The Ventures, Duane Eddy and the Rebels, Bobby Darin, Bobby Vee, Gene Pitney, Paul Anka, Neal Sedaka, Dion, The Belmonts minus Dion, the Crystals, Connie Francis, the Chordettes, Brenda Lee, Peggy Lee, Patsy Cline, Johnny Burnette, Dorsey Burnette, and someone I might be leaving out. Beach Boys, Bobby Vinton, and the Four Seasons about ready to take off. Also local bands heard in local markets. 'Nuff said!

What a refreshing change from those less-than-soulful, seldom cool British bands that have little-more to milk than a few twangier-than-thou guitarists and a drown-thee-out drummer. The Mar-Keys remind me of The Piltdown Men. I like their dance-moves too

The original speed tempo..much better with the later slowed down version
Wow! Can i have tab please?
I lose it. I will try to redo it on twitch but need to rewrite it. I will post here when it will ready
@@WoodyZik ❤️thank you
The people in the old days were intelligent.
Considerably faster than the album version.
😂 dur dur pour Brigitte ménopausée !
I haven't heard that G-Cleffs - ''Cause Your Mine' - song in ages!! Always loved that song, shame it was only a snip it of the song.
Now that's MUSIC!!!
Too rushed on this version. Like the original better.
Ptn merci je galerais
For those that don't know, that's Booker T & Thr MGs plus brass.
Maybe try a different camera angle.
Great job, is it possible to share the tabs ?
Waaaay faster than the original. Not as "cool".
Faz tempo que eu queria achar essa música. Até que enfim achei. Muito obrigado a quem postou.
This just *oozes* style. These guys were very dapper, and I'm sure the ladies noticed!
Music made on another planet and brought to Earth by mistake...
