I just got an oem rotax oil filter and it have a piece of metal not a Rubber and the spring doesn't look like your oen filter I got the filter from partzilla the part number is 956123 u think I can install it or what and thanks for the video it was helpful

K&n filters are garbage. They let too much fine particulate through. Be it an air filter or an oil filter. K&N will cost you an engine if you're offroad.

@@carprorebuilds7341 I recommend the twin air foam air filter its 100$ and it can last for a very long time if u clean it with the right chemicals there is alot of videos on KZread that teaches you how to do it properly BTW alot of tuners recommend that filter and can am also selling it as an performance air filter and it's better than the oem peper filter and when I installed it on my x3 I noticed better performance i hope this helps thanks🙏

What a butcher, you didn't prep any of the surfaces didn't anti seize anything, which I guess you don't need to do seeing how they just fall out like a rotor. What a joke the amount of time it takes me to do it with all the prep and everything seized together. You're pretty much working on a vehicle straight out of a factory Nuts and bolts

These engines have 2 drain bolts due to the oil sump design. This same design allows the engine to be at extreme angles and still maintains oil pressure.

Excellent, just had to do this after an hr. Of bagging door and trying to push button down, didn’t realize if keys are in ignition the power unlock button won’t work. Yes it is … just remove the whole center console, including the heat/ac cluster… it’s under the cigarette lighter buried under all that stuff …

Are you removing it to get it reset? These modules do not need to be removed for that. You can simply clear the fault codes with a scan tool capable of reading and erasing SRS codes.

After doing some research it seems like it is normal for these to make that noise. It comes from the CVT. I was just no familiar with how these are suppose to sound.

Hey man I have a 2013 and once we put the timing in I experience this issue the timing was done by a licensed professional. We used aftermarket parts so I assume the same thing VVT solenoids and the tensioner so I went to the dealer purchased it all for an hour leg goddess had to put in and I’m having the exact same issues and I’ve tried five or six different VVT solenoids camshaft solenoids cranks solenoids you name it on that car I replaced it if you could get back to me man that would be awesome if you might’ve found the answer

We replaced the cam gears and that took care of the problem. We also went down the rabbit hole, replaced all timing components, solenoids and the vvt gear that attaches to the camshaft did it.

It doesnt stutter at all while driving but i beleive I am replacing it now as it’s got a constant timing chain slap and is very cranky to start and is giving me time and codes. It’s got about 300,000 on it and here in Atlantic canada to get that before rust hits is insane to see but its been well undercoated etc since new. New engine with 80k going in this week, i think the camshaft etc is very very worn among some other issues there, not worth rebuilding with the mileage whereas i found a motor with good milage for 450$ CAD , goin rate is 1600 CAD plus 15% tax lol thanks guys
