  Thanks for the video. When I turn my key to the "on" position, I get nothing. No bells or whistles like it normally does when it's cycling through. My batteries are showing 12.4 volts, so it's not the batteries. What can it be? This happened from one day to the next. Looking forward to your input.

  Thx for posting this I just had the same exact problem with my 2003 Freightliner... I was messing with the Instrument cluster fuses. I changed the ING fuse and my gages are working. I'm going to us the contact cleaner and clean it.

  How do you know if the clutch is bad or the solenoid is bad? Should the fan turn when there is no air pressure?

  Did you need to remove the clutch holding plates in order to spin the front cover (to get at the Allen bolts). I put shop air to mine but it won't disengage the clutch so I can spin front and align holes

  I’m having the same exact issue with my gauges on KW T2000 C15 acert. Only volt gauge is working! I’m about to go try this trick see if it does anything! Thank you

  My instrument cluster stopped working bon my 2000 century has 9 gauges all of them working except the digital part Any ideas? I checked my fuse is just one fuse is working fine

  Yes. Sorry took so long. Or the clutch won't shut off. Needs air to shut off. When you start your truck it engages until air builds up.

  There is a lot more to these types of fans than what he is telling you. He never mentioned the difference in Normally Open temperature switches and Normally closed ones and how they affect the air solenoid if its plumbed incorrectly and how that could cause the fan do do just what its doing in the video. Truckers, do yourself a favor, take it to a good mechanic. You'll save money and downtime in the long run. Or, watch you tube. You all drive safe.

  My fan spins on its own when I crank it up. Not fast. Just a slow spin.

  @@tyflesh Yeap the ecu had fried shortly after ... was some type of wiring problem that shorted it ... had to put a new harness and ecu...fun times lol
