    I use packing cubes to keep everything organised when I travel. It makes such a difference when you're trying to find something in your bag. I don't use the compression type as I'm not into one bag travel and think that all that extra zipping and unzipping would just be exasperating.

    Kavu makes a convertible packing cube backpack which I love. I recently used two on a trip with my infant son. One was packed with his clothes and toiletries and the other I used as a carry-on personal item and diaper bag when we got to our destination. The bag was great for keeping a change clothes and diapers, along with toys and muslin blanket. Packing cubes are great and I've used compression packing cubes for ages. Great video and the brand you showed look sturdy!

    Be careful of using surge protectors in countries that have different mains voltage than yours. The surge protector rated for 120V should generally not be used in countries that use 220V. A regular power strip that has no circuity in it can be used anywhere so long as you simply convert the plug to match the country you're in.

    it is so interesting how for many people this idea of living in community seems so foreign and new when actually humans have been living in community or similar lifestyles forever just until recently! So in one way it is a new concept for many, but actually it's our natural history and just getting back in touch with our roots and connecting with our community. I follow you and Louis and Raya and am just absolutely in love with the life you are living. One day I will come and join you there in some tropical country in an awesome community like yours. 🤍

    Are there any bylaws or rules for the community?

  • @hopscotchtheglobe
    @hopscotchtheglobe7 күн бұрын

    Yes we, as a community, have created the laws. We have an HOA committee and every year we vote for who is on the board. There are many roles and everyone is involved in some way, helping to run and build the community. For examples, there the DRC, which is the design review committee and the community members on this review all the new house designs, along with architects to make sure people are designing to code based on Costa Rica bilaws and the guidelines we've put in place as a community. There's the playground, garden, events committees, etc. so much more we can share about this! We'll save it for another video...

  • @AdvExplorer

    @@hopscotchtheglobe cool! And I have more questions for you to discuss in your future video: how many people own land there along with you? How many are in those committee? When was the community started? Do you have individual titles in each lot or are they shared land? Thank you for answering! I'm living in a community in Ecuador so it's interesting to compare the similarities and differences 😀

    i grew up in too,and like many ideological things in the past it hd its problems, many thing were very problematic, especially to the kids, women and induvduleyy.. it was usually drpends on the people and there dinamuc there, noadays it all became like suburbs and after they sorted out the kids education system - livong out of their parents house and responsibility it fixed one of the main issues. still u wish there was more space for indevitualety and freedom there and in israel as those place are usually semi consevetive and small even if they have gay families for example, its a passive conservativisem like in most of israel. but this experiment was interesting for sure. there was aloat if creativety there and when i was with the right like minded people

    What do you mean by “tap in India” ? Be mindful 🥴.

  • @hopscotchtheglobe
    @hopscotchtheglobe9 күн бұрын

    I mean that not all tap water around the world is potable like a most in India (even for locals, not just foreigners), because the water isn't cleaned for human consumption. That's why people all around the world die from water born illnesses everyday. This bottle filters out a lot of harmful bacteria that make us sick.
