That is a femal BTW. Otherwise a great video. And please stop saying they are a Plecostomos because they are a completely different genus.
It's definitely a jumping spider. It's probably a Phidippus texanus. It's a very pretty one regardless.
It’s Spider-Man in his alternate form!
I have asian leeches- those are brown planaria
Noisy, can be destructive, and jerks to boot. Never again. Good "guard dogs" though.
Shot out to Dean in the background
Its a Bee Fly (Bombyliidae) 🎶 pass the dutchie pon the left hand side🎶 😂
What an excellent video! You covered the choices in materials and construction. Which might never occur to most people. This makes life so much easier. Thanks for taking the time to share your ideas. 👍
They are noisy noisy birds those but cool. Good to see you again so soon Jason 😂
awwwww nice!
I'm in the UK, and my mother is 86 years old now. I remember her telling me when she was a child that they used to have chickens and guinea fowl. She said that at night , they would roost up in the tall oak trees, and would always make a lot of noise if anything or anyone was lurking around, so like good guard dogs.
@@Les-OZZYTHEOSCAR yep great great dogs
🕊️
Looks like a Hover Fly.
everything is edible! some are just one time only
@@eskibileyci198 rofl!!
I feel weird in there too!!!!! It’s like I’m cheating on Lowe’s?
Wow awesome video. I’ve seen people use q-tip swabs to add micro foods. Not sure my wife would appreciate using her makeup brushes.
I have not heard of that before. I will be interested in learning how it tastes.
It’s a blackbirds egg
That is a horse crippler cactus. Yes, that's the real name. And yes, they are a cool cactus. The flowers are beautiful. It should get a red fruit on top.
Don't Touch it..Mama will abandon it
@@lynnsmith9976 lol I know that's why I only touched the branches
Though I don't recommend it, I used to play with them all the time when I was a kid.
If you dig down about 6 to 8 in and put the hardware cloth / fence stuff there, it will help keep snakes and other digging pests out. I do that with my aviaries and chicken coops here west of Ft Worth
Great info. Thanks.
Oh look at the cute little spider.. I'd just put him outside - cheers from Australia.
Green sunfish and blue cat.
Thank you on behalf of the animals you have on your ranch😅 glad you're posting again, I've missed your old man ramblings ❤
Lol thank you I think
In dusty horse barns mine get sweaty and dirty. I’ll rinse them well in the sink each day. They are also mostly the lightweight Nike dry-Fit material too. Doing this they hold up well and aren’t gross!
So? did you use it?
@@robinsonsaez3476 no I took it down
😮 remind me not to move there. I can’t even handle the mostly little guys we have.
Yup
I guess you don't know about the plastic cage that you can put them in and toss them in the washing machine.
This I need to buy!
@@JadrenAquatics stay safe out there in the heat it's no joke!
@@JadrenAquatics Will come out better if used in the dishwasher, not the clothes washer.
That is a diamond-backed watersnake nonvenomous. Very common. You might also run into some plain-bellied watersnakes. I would be extremely unlikely for you to have a water moccasin in any of your ponds. You are probably more likely to win the lottery.
Really I thought water moccasin are common in our tanks. I obviously have no idea how to identify them
@@JadrenAquatics They've actually never been documented in your area. The the closest they come to you is Graford or Jacksboro. The nonvenomous water snakes are plentiful.
Why does it sound like you are surrounded by rattlesnakes
That's cicadas!!
Lol yes lots of cicadas
If it has blue on its tummy then it is a eastern fence lizard. They help eat all kinds of bugs and good to have around
Male Texas spiny lizards also have blue on their stomachs
Bluegill and catfish
That is a Texas spiny lizard.
I knew if anyone knew it was you! Thanks!
Glad to see you back. I’d recommend against Highlands if you’re trying to make money with them. I kept a large herd of them for years. They’re awesome animals but not profitable. South Poll cattle is where it’s at. Wishing y’all the best!
Thanks very glad to be back! No not for profit only for pets thanks
Sunfish, catfish
Looks great! I’ve gotta ask why are you calling it a tank? Is this an algorithm thing?
Always been called the feeder tank because there is a really old calf feeder beside it
I've got at least 6 turquoise rainbowfish fry. I removed a large mass of plants from my tank with 6 very young (1.2-1.5") fish and put the plants into a bucket. 6 days later I see at least 6 fry, likely way more (my eyes are not so good). I am not prepared but I have raised angelfish and cories in the past. Might flake food mashed in a mortar and pestle be small enough for them?
Nice! Get some crawfish in there if you haven't got them already
You're going to need some smaller fish to provide food. I would highly recommend moving some mosquito fish into their.
1 bluegill Catfish
Purge and catfish
Green sunfish Some type of catfish most likely Chanel Green sunfish
lol yeah I was told they were perch by my parents, then I took a trip to Michigan to fish with my grandpa and he was calling an entirely different fish a perch. I was so so confused.
Magikarp?
Ding ding sir you are incorrect but close lol
1:Blugil??? 2:Catfish 3:bluegill?????
Same
Those might be sunfishes not blue gill
Be happy I did not call them perch ecause that's what I taught lol
@@JadrenAquatics do some more videos so we can help try to identify all the species you have in there, looks like a fun project
