Oh dude it sounds like you have no idea what the anime market is like. The amount of fan service as you put it, is nothing compared to other anime. I also hate to break it to you but anime is not meant to be watched in public. I thought the 4 hour thing for failing the quest was bs too, but at the same time i wasn't gullible enough to think he was actually sprinting the whole 4 hours. You said it also had no stakes and explained why but your reasoning is flawed. Yes he does get angry and it helps him overcome his limits but the same could be said for many anime. Obviously the series isn't going to have him die a few episodes in, so you know he will overcome it. The same goes with most anime.

Now we know that if Armin had been in charge instead of Eren it would have been the end of Eldians. I’m surprised to see so many people talk about Eren as the devil incarnated when in reality he took all the right decisions for his people. It shows how the people of today have become weak.

I feel like both did things right and the fact that our issue was who's better when both are peak is a testament to the quality of the show. But I have to give the edge to wit. Their ODM scene are very easily the best scenes I've ever seen in anime asthetically. The eyes on the characters are beautiful too and the titans have that hand drawn amazing look. Tho the colossal looks much better in mappa's version. Overall I feel like Mappa's style fits the darker theme of the late show very well. So I'd pick wit but there's a lot of value to be found in mappa's animation too

Wit gave the show a more majestic look. Mappa made the show look like it lost its charm or appeal. Like the end of the world or something. Mappa even needed the guy that drew Levi fighting the Beast Titan in S3 to draw the ending scene where Levi dodges a bunch of things in the air to throw a thunder spear while Mikasa slices Eren’s head off.

Wit are not focusing in average frame while mappa does you but i prefer mappa art style as i like the consistent quality. About coloring and contrast overall i would choose wit but the 3rd frame of eren eyse in 3:06 i still choose mappa as it look more edgy and realistic and suit the vibe of cruel world and full of drepession as u can see in eren eyes, full of angry and no hope

Zeke's plan could work in the following way , let me know if I'm wrong tho, The ackerman was a good point, but it is very very safe to assume that the founder is way stronger than ackerman blood, after all, when Eren made his announcement about war to the whole world ,even Levi was brought into the Path's world, So let's say the Ackerman gets Euthanized too So, Zeke will die in 1 year or less as he had beast for 12 years now, 13 is limit, Currently in the entire world there are only 3 Eldian with Royal Blood, Zeke,Historia,And the Child of historia born on day of Rumbling. We all know Founder's powers need Royal Blood to Unlock, So when you said the entire eldian race has to agree for this plan to work ,that isn't actually true Zeke dies in 1 year ,so he's out, remaining royal eldian in the world is 2 now. Zeke just needs to convince historia that , you keep the founder for 13, then let your baby keep the founder for 13 , thats 26, and after 26 both historia and the baby would die,cause curse of ymir, so there is no more royal blood, then the founder will randomly go to a Non Royal Eldian, cause there is literally no Royal blood eldian left. Its simple: wit studio was great but it took too much time and effort for them to do it so mappa was chosen to replace because they could animate in a shorter amount of time with the help of cgi, and less details, frames. They could do more in less time and thats what mattered for the bosses who wanted anime as fast as possible

I remember reading the ending chapters live and having this feeling of, "Ummm wtf is this???" I was a HUGE AOT stan for years. I would not stfu about it on social media in terms of what I was keeping up with. The first season of the anime is what got me into reading and keeping up with the manga. I was shouting its praises for the writing. But nah I gotta pretend that ending is not real to cope. I feel like too many people worry about being nice and feeling like an asshole if they criticize an author's creative work. (Or they just lack compositional literacy).

The Rumbling is a real global deconstruction (no pun intended) on how nostalgia can be toxic. Even after seeing the end of the series, I'd still say that Marley had this coming. Does that necessarily justify what Eren did? Probably not. But a god's standards of right and wrong differ vastly from a mortal's standards of such. And it's clear that at the end of the series humanity didn't learn its lesson even after the massive spanking that Eren gave them and that this will happen again, possibly with the complete extinction of humanity this time.

It's not just to save paradis, there's more to it. he wanted to wipe everyone ever since he learned humanity survived outisde walls. the world hatred towards them only made eren justify his actions. A small scale rumbling is enough to save paradis. but with that eren can't get his freedom, which is an empty land with no people. That's why eren did rumbling.

And even IF they stopped there: They already developed weapons that can kill even Titan Shifters. Don't you find it probable that the same applies for the Marleyans? i understand that the Marleyan people of power keep punishing Eldia for their far far past but what about the common human? we keep talking about Marleyans as if they're all a single organism with a single brain when that is way way far from the case. You think Eren is right? Even when he went on the other side undercover and saw the every day people living their lives he didn't think for a second that they deserved to be spared. He is still a boy with too much power. He could have lifted the curse of the titans by having Mikasa kill him thus proving to Ymir that she can have a will of her own as we see happen by the end of the story, he did not *have* to annihilate the world to ensure Paradis' safety, that was only for his own selfish attempt to find closure. He did not care about the Eldians, that was simply an excuse to gain supporters. There were Eldians on the land of Marley for crying out loud!

Eren is the villain and you can try and say it however you like. Boohoo I grew up a certain way, boohoo the truth was t what I expected, grow up! We wanted to disarm and kill Hitler for doing it and I’m sure he had his reasons. Now we can accept it because we’ve seen this guy’s pov the entire time? And lol ik this just an anime but if this were real we can’t act like this is okay…and btw he did have a choice. Do just like King Fritz did, and choose PEACE. Just take out the outer layer as a deterrent, ofc it won’t last forever but a simple threat from King Fritz kept Marlyians at bay for a long period of time. Just saying…genocide is never justified no matter what you tell yourself. And yes I can understand a persons reasons and/or predicament and still disagree or dislike the actions. Just like Hange. The biggest problem with MAPPA is their errors in face/upper body anatomy. Maybe charachter design became more manga-like, but after 3 seasons the contrast between sharp WIT faces and bloby MAPPA faces was too distracting. Otherwise MAPPA animators deserve better schedule and rewards for their titanic work.

Eren is the villain and you can try and say it however you like. Boohoo I grew up a certain way, boohoo the truth was t what I expected, grow up! And lol ik this just an anime but if this were real we can’t act like this is okay…and btw he did have a choice. Do just like King Fritz did, and choose PEACE. Just take out the outer layer as a deterrent, ofc it won’t last forever but a simple threat from King Fritz kept Marlyians at bay for a long period of time. Stopping Eren was the wrong move. The hatred of Eldians / Paradis was never going to stop. You see this failure when time flies and Paradis is literally being bombed and destroyed. Their civilization is wiped out and the remnants of cities remain with plant overgrowth. Because there's nobody left to rebuild. They're wiped out.

If you substitute Paradis for postwar Japan it starts to get real weird.
The biggest problem with MAPPA is their errors in face/upper body anatomy. Maybe charachter design became more manga-like, but after 3 seasons the contrast between sharp WIT faces and bloby MAPPA faces was too distracting. Otherwise MAPPA animators deserve better schedule and rewards for their titanic work.
i think the fact that wit did season 1 2 and 3 and mappa did the rest was a really good combo because it really puts us into perspective, how since season 4 things gotten harder and not like a "peaceful fight" against titans. Because the enemies aren't titans, they are humans
