Why do you have a hole in your boat is it designed that way that way 🤔🤨
Yes, when the trolling motor is deployed, the hole is covered
Awesome video! Thanks for all the advice on how and where to fish for crappie!
I know this is a few years old, but thanks for sharing. It's nice to see someone actually give some advice on where to fish a lake. I'm new to fishing crappie on big lakes in DFW and really struggle sometimes. It's nice to get a small pointer ... thanks!
go to the dam off the left side of the ledge and there stacked in the brush piles
Gained a sub from me! Quick question, without the tongue extender did you ever clip the yaks when turning?? I'm up in Anna north of McKinney and have been smashing BODARK with my 10 year old boy and we're looking for an easier transport method. Thanks!!
Living at the campgrounds for now... This is going to help A LOT literally making survival easier
thank you Sir, learned a ton of info! Still hunting for my first crappie!
Hey! Love the kayak! Where can I buy one like this?
Where are you located?
Save your money. Bought a 7”6 ACC crappie stix, stiff as a broom handle. Over priced hype. Way to stiff for panfish. It’s more of a medium powered bass rod.
This video is a couple years old! I did move off ACC and moved over to Pure Crappie Tackle!! Better action and WAY more durable!
@@BarFlyFishingTexas Thanks for the reply Barfly. I like your channel. I was so disappointed in the ACC crappie stix. I reached out to em, to see if they had a return policy, for customer satisfaction. lol. They replied with, we have other rods, with softer tips. Why would I make that mistake again. I heard of people saying they break easy. Keep catching them dawgs.
@RussFishes4fun they break like twigs…Thanks for the support!!
Do you use hi vis mono?
Yes, Suffix 6lb
Thank you, love suffix for mono. Do you run a leader?
I love fishing white bass. It’s super easy but it’s usually a great day catching fish left and right. Plus if you find the right hole, you literally don’t have to move all damn day. It’s a great time
Yep! Every spring in the creeks!!
C
Use the thinner bigger floats with the weights It cuts in the water like a popper gets me a lot of bass and crappie etc on a sexxe shad on 4lb
Sweet vid man just started my own channel keep up the good work
Nice Ones !
I knew I bought some bobbers for a reason...
Nice kayak setup and sweet fishing!!
That was a long video, appreciate you watching
Yeah, but it costs $1200
Good job brother
Thanks for watching!!
My trucks been in the shop for 45 days, haven't gotten out in so long :(. Thanks for the videos to keep me going!
Appreciate you taking the time to watch!! 😊
I must thank you for teaching me how to use a jig & Bobber all my questions were answered in this excellent video...Bravo!
NICE!!!!!!!!!
NICE!!!!!!
I've been wanting to take my kayak there. But I don't know where to put in. Love seeing some of that dock shooting
I put in at log cabin park. You can find it on Google maps.
Went out there yesterday and ended up with 11 mixed keepers around the dock.
Leave my dock fish alone 🤣🤣 glad you got down there! I love that lake
It was nice, way too many recreational boaters on the weekend. Very hard to fish with those guys around. I didn’t get to finish that long before that storm hit. It was hailing. I just had to leave. Caught a few though. Got one big black Crappie, but didn’t have the camera rolling. Figures.
Tool bag
Glad to see you back out there attem. Keep the videos coming.
Hey brother go catch some of them dogs
Location bro
Summers her, dont forget to protect those legs.
They look worse than they are! But I did get sunburn. For some reason I just didn’t think about it when I left it wasn’t that hot. 🤷🏻♂️
Good sized fish for Lavon!! Did you have to weed through dinks to get those? It didn't look like it! Nice work Terry!
Not at all. Smallest fish was 11”
???? What size Lb thrust do you have on your kayak
45 or 55. Not sure one of the two
@BarFlyFishingTexas okay I have a 30lb thrust on my Bonafide SS107. It did okay in the creek. Now gonna see how it's does in open water.
Man those were some nice ones!
Surprisingly enough!!
Nice slab. I was wondering where you've been? Behold the crappie slayer!!!
Oh, you know I’m out here! Just not always filming!
Where exactly is this bridge?
Nice video
Now that really good fishing cousin
This is first cousin Charlie happy damn that is a lot of croppie
What kind of rod do you recommend using when your dock shooting ?
5’7” to 6’ light fast action.
@@BarFlyFishingTexas yes !!! Thank you ! 🎣
@@BarFlyFishingTexas I’ve been checking brush piles on Lewisville and they still haven’t moved on them post spawn it’s weird
Great video. Beats a good day at work
Absolutely
Nice!!
You watching my stuff bro? Thanks‼️ I appreciate it‼️ Watching yours too. Just watched the Flounder vid last night
Do you have recommendations for spawning crappiebfishing?
I’m not sure what you mean by recommendations? We are at the tail end of it now..
Where did you get the kayak pole and holder at
Drum is good eating
Whats good rod and reel for crappi and bluegill

Nice
Nice chunker
It's a crappie how mad can he get. Please
As mad as his little body lets him, and Black Crappie fight much harder!
Always wear life jacket. Always
@@CalGcastglassnz yeah you only get to die once and if you are not ready it's probably best to keep that jacket handy it won't just keep you from drowning it will keep you from freezing
Pick up a $12 Dock Demon for those situations. I think you'll appreciate it!
I work with a rod company. Pure Crappie Tackle. I think a 6’ is their shortest.
@@BarFlyFishingTexas Gotcha! For those of us without sponsors the 30" Zebco Dock Demon is pretty awesome for tight spaces. I've pulled in a 52" gar with one. Extremely durable 😁
@@jasonh6919 nice. Thanks for the advice!!
Sir, excuse me for being so bold, but would you be so kind as to share with me the exact address of where you fish for white bass in Denton Creek please 🙏.
