  There's a story behind this I'm sure. Not sure what it is, or why Jonas Kaufmann is dressed as a Cardinal. Or what the bearded woman is all about. All I know is that these voices are pleasant, but the most beautiful of all, acting as strength and support to the young men, is that of Jonas Kaufmann. Bravo Jonas ❤

  Marlene Dietrich, man verbindet diese Lied immer mit ihr, wundervoll gesungen, immer wieder kann man ihr zu hören und immer wieder Tränen vergießen, ein Lied das leider immer wieder in die Zeit passt, wann wird man je verstehn???!!! Diese performance mit Ute Lemper ist einfach der Hammer, alle Mitwirkenden, wie es inszeniert ist, einfach nur toll und unsagbar traurig....... wann hört dieser Wahnsinn auf Erden nur auf, wann lernt die Menschheit dazu..... wann wird man je verstehn???!!!

  Lots of negative criticism on here. I liked it - yes different to some other performances but after all….. she is only human, not a machine or a robot singing exactly the same each time.. If you want exactly the same each time then go listen to the record on your machine. The imperfections make it.
