That looks beautiful. Wow! Thanks.
I have watched so many of these videos and I have to say I LOVE how you explain it!
Thank you for this!! Freezing 3 gallons of milk now!
I like your vintage pin case. Well done video, thanks .
I am so glad to find your video tutorial and I am about to follow closely as I’ve never done this before 😅. I bought some embroidery floss and am getting my project ready. Wish me luck! Thank you!!
Very useful
Very helpful
Thanks for a clear explanation. I’m excited to try it.
I just started looking, but I’ve found lots of no-discard recipes on KZread for making sourdough starter. Have you tried any of them?
Sucessfully repaired my favourite pair of jeans. Thank you!!!
yay!
What would be the best way to do one on the top as well?
Thank you
Straight forward repair. Thanks
Thank you so much! You’re wonderful ❤
Did you skip a stitch when you started your first row?
Awesome! Can we use jute?
yes
I’m trying to patch my work pants. Your video helped me a lot, but I don’t know how to tie a good knot. Worn my pants for a day and the stitches are all loose, idk if it’s because of a bad knot or bad sewing. First time seeing anything.
This is a great tutorial. Thanks for sharing ❤
We call them soap saacks. Supporting A Community with Kindness. Donations (included WRAPPED) bar of soap inside. We've donated over 200 thousand since 2018!
Thank youuuuu now I can fix my work pants. Things are lile $100 a pop. So worth it!!! ❤
If you don't have all of this a simple needle thread & scrap will suffice. I'm definitely going to be picking up some of this I have been sewing without all of these tools for years. Just never really a patch usually always a seam or a tiny hole.
I’ve been installing carpet and flooring for 35 years. Keyboard drop
I loved it, thank you so much! ❤😊
I absolutely loved this video!! Thank you so much!!
Just trying to hold on to my welding pants for a few more months through school and this saved them. Thank you! exactly what I was looking for.
Could you just do the stitching around the exterior of the hole to keep the patch in place? Is it necessary to also secure the patch first (as you did)?
Instructions uncleared, tried to mend the hole in the seat of my pants while driving, crashed into a wendy's
I like ur plants
I had these recently at a winery with a cheese platter. They used a spice, think it may have been Star Anise🤔
Does it scratch things like a smooth top stove?
An embroidery hoop? Glad you showed that. Didn’t know about it’s existence.
You think this is good for beginners 🤨
You have a great skill. . I'm sure you could customize jeans to look really cool like the pricey Ralph Lauren jeans with patches
I agree. I think we should bring back mending, repairing, clothes and items to make them last longer save some money and perhaps give yourself the satisfaction of keeping these favorite items around for a bit longer.
Good stuff.
Thank you! I don’t do very much sewing so when my son needed his jeans patched, this was great! Very clear instruction with excellent visuals. Wishing you the best, 🌺🌺🇨🇦
Thank you, lots of really old Levi's jeans that need some TLC.
This worked for me. Peel off as much as possible when dry, then when softened with plain water. Next I used a stainless steel scrubber ball, this removed all the paper and glue. Rub one direction first then up and down under running warm water. I didn't need any oils or any other chemicals or soaking. Lastly, feel with your fingers to find any spots you may have missed.
Thank you
One can use Nail Polish Remover as well after removing the sticker from hand as much as possible.
You are cute
do you think i can have a windmill palm survive for nj zone 7? i saw it can survive down to 5-10(or 11 i don’t remember) degrees
I can't imagine you knew 3 years ago that this video would still be helping people but it helped me today! I'm tired of buying new work pants after tearing them and the embroidery hoop is brilliant. Fantastic video, well done!
Well explained. Thank you. Been waiting for one of my daughters to pick this up to fix my work pants but im out of luck. Going to try some tonight. Detached back pockets is the most common issue. Haven’t found a good tutorial on that or how to start and terminate a stitch. Have a good day. Thanks!
Best explanation I've seen and the embroidery hoop is such a great idea! Thanks so much!!
what is the name of the plant you have on the back left, with heart shaped leaves?
Growing up I always heard …”use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without”.
Excellent
The best video I've seen for this concept / method of repair! Very clear and simple with a clever trick or two :)
Thanks loads.
Thanks!
