This is great. It's said by some people that after sharing a word that virtue has left you. My question is, did virtue really leave you?

Day 2️⃣1️⃣ of 1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ DOD Topic: How to overcome Habits. Texts: 2 Cor 8:7, 1 Tim 4:7-8, Rom 6:19, Gal 5:16,25. 1. Spiritual growth is context specific - We should strive to grow in all areas as believers. 2. There is an exercise in godliness - So don’t be discouraged when trying to break habits, it takes time and you’ve got to keep showing up. 3. There is a concept called Target-muscle training in physical exercise - It also applies in spiritual exercise where you need to identify the problem, and develop a specific spiritual curriculum that will be targeted to handling it. 4. The same way you grew in ungodliness while in the world, it is the same way you can grow in godliness. Rom 6:19 - You get better at something as you keep at it. 5. As we walk in the physical, also learn to walk in the spirit. - When you see things that are inconsistent with the testimonies of God in your life, walk in the spirit. Gal 5:16 6. The fact that you are a spirit by nature doesn’t rid you off of the responsibility of exercising and growing. Gal 5:25 - If you live by the spirit, walk and exercise in a targeted manner. 4 Ways to Overcome Habits: i. Never give up - There is a nature dimension in Consecration, there are also an exercise and growth dimensions in consecration - This means that you need to show up more to keep growing. - The way to break the yoke is by growing. - You may be struggling even though you are a righteous man but don’t give up. ii. Read the Bible - Discover what God has said about overcoming those habits. iii. Study books on it iv. Let Jesus be your context - There’s a way you will study and it won’t benefit you because you are studying with a defeated mindset - Rather, study with a righteousness consciousness - You only need to match up your works with your righteous nature. You got more points other than these? Kindly Share in the comment section. #100DaysofDiscipleship #EmmanuelIrenlive #ICFCWJ

A struggling man is a righteous man still, our righteousness is a gift! He only needs to exercise to get his works to match his nature. It is normal to feel guilty, infact, it is a good sign. But all the same, there must be guts. It is for this that Christ died, for weak and vulnerable moments like this. Get up and press on, don’t give up! - Day 21. Thank you, Apostle! 👏👏

Jesus I PRAISE you! Lord give me strength I’m struggling providing for my children. I’m so discouraged but I will keep faith because faith is all I have left! I suffer from lupus, and heart disease. I have two beautiful boys both are special needs. I’m overwhelmed because they require so much from me. I started homeschooling them due to bullying. Every month is a struggle to not end up on the streets but yet I still praise God. Thank you Jesus.💕

✅Day 21 - Spiritual growth is context specific, abound in the whole counsel of God, not retarded in any area. You can be tongue-speaking and not generous or poor in love walk (bitter theologians). You need to put yourself in situations that will help stretch and exercise yourself in the areas you still need to grow in. A person (even Christians) can be so defeated in a habit that they don't see the possibility of stopping, but the answer is in exercise, show up and keep at godliness. Target the problem and develop a specific spiritual curricular that can defeat it WALK IN THE SPIRIT - living in the Spirit doesn't rid you of the responsibility of exercise. walking is that exercise. To do: 1. Never give up- there's a nature and exercise part of consecration. You're not weak, you're still building muscle. Keep up the diet till you throw off that easily besetting sin. You break the yoke by GROWTH. You won't always be like this 2. Read the bible on it 3. Study books on it 4. Let Jesus be your context. It is for weak, vulnerable moments like this that Christ died. Stand up and forge ahead !

✅Day 20- Not everyday will be a rainy day, there'll still be 7 years of scarcity. Instead of praying against it, save for it. Have a structure to plant, harvest and store up. God will supply all your needs, but you're not sure that it's by that very job you believe you're secure with. It's part of financial stewardship to have a savings culture, no matter how small, build that discipline with the small. Have money that you won't touch. Even generosity should be planned. ✅ Day 19- Following Jesus is not as convenient but as commanded. No ifs, buts or maybe. When you begin to put some structures in your life to obey God, you're growing in discipleship. You must agree that the word of God is your final authority. Your worldview. You must have a receptiveness towards the word. For the word to ve elevated in your life, other contrary view must be demoted (see-saw). Demand that oyhers respect your discipline. Put it out and be bold about it To do- Start buikding convictions regarding key areas of your life!! Put the structure. ✅ Day 18 - When reading the Bible, follow the glow of thought. Read from the beginning to get the context the verse is coming from - It takes grace to give when you don't have. This tells us that generosity is not always a proof to love - if you'll be generous, you must always be content. Because you won't always have it all everytime and it won't always be convenient but then you can abide in every good work. - not reading the Bible in context can give you the exact opposite of what that verse was saying. ✅Day 17- When we say God is one ( and three), it's the same One that a man becomes with his wife (Gen 4). And in Gal 3:28 - all are one in Christ. One here means Unity not singularity. If Allah made someone die in Jesus's place like that claim, why can't it be true that Jesus himself died for us. Surah 3:55, 4:158 - Allah took Jesus to himself. If he is above creation, that means that Jesus is above creation as well. Implicitly implying that Jesus is God. The Quaran says that Allah is the first and that last, the bible- written 3 centuries before that states that Jesus is the first and that last. The Quaran affirms the deity of Christ. ✅Day 16- The accounts that the Bible is true did exist. As at the time of the Bible's writing, many witnesses to these events were still alive. ✅Day 15 - The Bible is not contradictory when the accounts seem different. It's called corroborative information. It's the different perspective of the writers of that particular book, when you put the information side by side, you now have a fuller perspective. It's simple journalism ...if They could have really found evidence against Christianity, they would have. ✅Day 14- following the speech-act theory, the Bible contains more meaning than just the definition of the words. It is a spiritual metaphor of spiritual realities. Read to understand beyond the literal definition of what is being communicated. The Bible is a communication of people who weren't trying to be scientific, but to understand what is being communicated. The Bible there to aid the salvation of mankind. Avoid arguments to make the Bible what it was never meant to be ✅Day 13- the Bible may have been written by men as the immediate source, some part of it is a literal dictation of God's words; God is the ultimate source ( Like parents being the immediate source of a child & God being the ultimate source) - God was using the lives of the Bible characters to tell a story, we learn from the lives of the prophet of old. We can divide the mind of God from the landscape of the entire story ✅ Day 12: Jesus said that He is God in several instances in the NT. When he told the priest that he would sit in the right hand of power. Referring to what Daniel said. He is deserving of the worship he received at his birth down to his death. Also, when he asked the Pharisees how he could be the son of David when David called him Lord. Evidence is laid out that Jesus is God and is to be worshiped. ✅ Day 11- The Hebrew word for One in the OT means one compound unit ( not singularity). There were instances of the separate entities of the Trinity shown throughout the OT. If it's biblical, it can be strange and it takes humility to study on it and accept it ✅Day 10, let's do the actual work of going after the one lost sheep. Go all out into the world and lead the lost, don't surround yourself in the comfort and safety of the 99 ✅Day 9: be more known for what you stand for rather than what you stand against. Follow the law and walk in love. Speaking up only when there's a fault (which you will most likely find because no one is perfect) can make you disrespectful or less compassionate, commend the right instead in love. Pick your battles when it comes to doctrine. Don't allow religious experiences to inoculate you from normal compassion. ✅ Day 8: Challenges may be unpleasant but they help grow a deeper relationship when you come out of it. Going through it together can give you a new sense of attachment that cannot be easily separated. For two 'wise' people ✅Day 7- Lord, I pray for the man you have for me - that you'll give him the prophetic and priestly ordination to bring out the best in me, to speak words of life into me. Help me do the same as well in Jesus name ✅ Day 6 - You can't not be mission minded as an established Christian. As you teach, disciple, mentor or pray for others, you be refreshed or empowered. No matter how small your knowledge is, share it with someone! You preserve your vibrancy by reason of use. We all have the ministry of reconciliation ✅ Day 5- Thank you Lord for the opportunity and power you have given to me to have more and do more. I will do my best and deploy my gifts to handle resources. ✅Day 4- My worth and validation doesn't come from money. I only need it as a tool to do God's and good work. I will be accountable to God fir my finances ✅ Day 3 - Lord, I surrender my right to self Leadership. Scrutinize every fancy idea I have under your will for me. ✅ Day 2 - In Jesus name, I am passionate about substance, truth and depth of knowledge of God, not eloquence because the Gospel may not be intellectually stimulating but has the power to save. Amen ✅ Day 1 - I'll be consistent, so I'll be made. Amen
