I love Scar. He’s my favorite Disney villain.
This was Incredible Masterpiece for The Disney Legend herself The Late Eleanor Audley (1905 -1991). Eleanor Audley Truly did a Legendary Performance Bringing Lady Tremaine/The Evil Step Mother and Maleficent/The Mistress of Evil to Life. While Eleanor Audley's Performance as Lady Tremanie is Iconic but her Performance as Maleficent his Truly Magnificent I'm Truly shocked that Eleanor Audley was Sick at Time while Voicing Maleficent but she Truly had The Strength and Willpower to Deliver One Hell of a Performance.
What a talent! And what a disgrace that she was shut out of opportunities because she's Asian. I hope she and V of BTS collab on a fabulous project when he returns. She loves him so much and their voices would meld so beautifully. 💜
I used to come home from school and the first thing i did was to turn the tv on to watch the cartoons . Ithink it was called merri melodies..happy times😂😂.

On SpongeBob they used recordings from his bear lamp shade noise like the scene when SpongeBob said his second line and that green fish grow right at him that was the bear noise or the camp episode of SpongeBob when Squidward said he doesn't believe a sea bear when the bear growled at Squidward that's that lamp shade old cartoons had that sound effect of the lampshade bear noise it's probably the lamp shade and fan of the way he makes that growls and roars out of that glass object they need to bring back the sound effect cuz I miss that old bear sound.
You should try and make that sound yourself, if you have one of those chimneys

This video just felt really jarring and robotic. I appreciate the effort, but man. Something about the production of this was just off-putting.

I subscribe to Sirius XM solely to listen to old radio dramas, especially Johnny Dollar. I never knew Gerson was so involved in early radio prior to her Disney work.

Maleficent is my favorite Disney villain precisely because of Eleanor's voice work. I really don't think we see another villain to match her until Pat Carroll's work as Ursula in 1989 for "The Little Mermaid". May they both rest in peace 🙏❤

This was so interesting. Donald has always been my favorite Disney character and I had no idea that Tony was an animator and that he even knew Clarence Nash, let alone was guided by him into taking the role after his passing. It's a wonderful and touching story how he became the voice of Donald and it means a lot that he takes it so seriously.
It’s a shame Paul Frees is not with us anymore. He was a great voice actor. Luckily we have Corey Burton to take his place.
The evil stepmother of whoever raked this "together" has my COMPLETE sympathy...

I loved Little Nemo Adventures in Slumberland as a kid. Never really scared me oddly.
Chuck Jones will always be the greatest animator/cartoonist to me but without Mel's voices, Bugs Daffy and their gang will never be alive! Can't fathom how he can voice all the dialogues without seeing the cartoon because the cartoons were made only after he did all the dialogues, mythical talent!

Just amazing. I absolutely loved discovering Sherri Stoner’s part; she truly looks like Ariel! Thank you so much for posting. People wonder why the newer or live action Disney movies aren’t as good as the classics. It’s because you have to have the classic Disney soul in you; it wasn’t only about making money but creating an artform that told a good story, that brought out the wonder and magic for a child (and it touched adults as a result as well). The old charm and warmth has to be in the people who create what goes on the screen; whatever is in the creators and even in the audience that influences the creators is what projects onto the screen. And what we see today is a projection of today’s society
