My only complaints are the stock seat sucks, and the throttle response could be better. I noticed all Indians have throttle by wire and there’s a bit of lag. Its noticeable to me coming from a suzuki with cable throttle. It’s a cruiser, not meant to be a race bike though.

It’s simple. Indian is Apple, Harley is Android. Do with that what you will.

More comfortable seat, better suspension, better handling, better weight distribution for basically the same price as a Harley at least that's the case for the Challenger vs Road glide.

Hey dude it's a Springfield, the speedo is old school, how many fucking times are you looking at the bullshit your going on about? Fuel gauge are you moving when you look at the empty gauge? Well then it's fine, your a wanker buy a Honda or old kawasaki.

I owned two Harley-Davidson (Street Glide Special | Sportster Super Low) and two Indians (my last one being a 2023 Springfield 111). In my case, I do not put emphasis on social elements, aftermarket parts, fairing, infotainment, number of dealers around me etc. The Indian is the one that puts a smile on my face, very comfortable and I like the aesthetics. Happy riding and cheers from Colorado.

I didn't purchase an Indian for the big reason infrastructure. Just to see one, I had to drive almost 200 miles. There's a harley shop 5 miles.

  • @NoDollarRider

that is a fair point, its the same here, but I am told though by friends that do own Harleys that it feels like their bikes spend more time in the shops getting repaired rather than on the road though, i wanted a bike to ride not to sit in a shop

Not sure what kind of riding you are doing, but I have yet to scrape my footboards and I've had my 2022 for almost a year. I do also wish that the speedometer was a bit more in my line of sight and didn't have to look so far down to see it (I wear a full face helmet most of the time), but I rarely have a need to look at it. I do think the fuel gauge is something that needs to be resolved and like you, I trust the analog gauge vs. the digital one. It has an advertised fuel tank capacity of 5.5 gallons, but even on "empty" I've never filled it more than 4.5 gallons. Love the bike though!! Wouldn't trade it for anything else, unless they decided to put the LCD screen on a 2024, then I might consider it.

I took a look at the foreign brands Kawasaki , Suzuki, ect.,the quality just wasn't there. Everybody talks shit on the American cruisers because they don't go 1000 miles a second but that's not what they're for. They are for in your face, piss off the neighbors, the world can go to hell,I don't give a shit what you say, rebellion! Facts baby!

Never heard of anyone needing a gear indicator either, and obviously the old shit still works because you can always read analog even in the sun. Riders don't need whiz bang tech shit
