Very helpful. This answered all my questions 😀👍. Appreciate it 😊
I have a Tema towel I put in my carry on. I use it rolled as a pillow or as a blanket on the plane because I don’t want a blanket that has been used by 50 people. On the trip it is a shawl or usable at the beach. Mult- purpose.
I beg to disagree. CASH is still king especially in Asia. I travel to Asia 3 to 4 times a year and believe me …. you need cash.
What was the brand of the toiletries bag mentioned ?
I have a great My Map set up for our Boston trip, but I can't find a way to turn the transportation layer on so I can see the subway system on My Map. UGHHH...so frustrated. Do you know if this is possible??
Can I travel with a glass water bottle that is empty

I no longer take my fancy travel drink container, lost one by leaving it in the bathroom stall on the hook, and it is heavy and takes up a lot of space. So now I just take a 16 to 24 oz plastic container that I had bought with a drink in it, have it empty when going through security and refill it when I get through security. Another thing I do is put cash in my shoe under the foot cushion. I was in Athens Greece and had my wallet stolen from my back pack when on a metro, this was in the 1990's. Always put your backpack in front of you when on a bus or metro tram train. I had enough cash in my shoe to get me to Corfu where I was meeting my husband.
india is disgustin
Yeees dry shampoo luv it
Mr Johnson’s business marketing class was the best!
If I pay for a higher class ticket that includes an included bag, how does that effect a refund for delayed luggage. There doesn't seem to be any real compensation for taking the delayed flight even though there is considerable inconvenience being delayed for hours.
Nice video... to the point. Thank you so much. :-) Love from India
Wow!! This is life changing for me. I had no idea I could do all these with Google Maps. Thank you so much for this video!
Totally disagree about cash - have some costs nothing in terms of weight or space, and gives an option in cases where the internet or ATMs are unavailable. I just don't see a down side to having $100 - even if you get beat up a bit on a currency exchange, it makes sense to have some. (Not large amounts, however.) As for pillows; I don't use the U-shaped neck pillow, but I do bring a cervical pillow in my luggage. I hate that I have to, but if I don't, my neck will be all screwed up in a day or 2 from sleeping with most "normal" pillows. I don't bring because I want to (because it takes up way more space than I like) but because I have to. If I didn't have spinal issues, I would gladly leave the damn thing home.
If I have to pack my belt in my luggage, I spread it along the perimeter of the luggage instead of rolling it up. You won’t even know it’s there. If needed for more space, you can also place your socks inside of your shoes. On your return trip, you can put your dirty underwear in there too. Now I have more room for stuff I bought on the trip and gifts for family and friends.
I have an inflatable neck pillow. Besides compressing down for storage, allows you to make it as firm as you like.
Scrubba wash bag was a great tip! Liked + subbed.
Egypt and morocco need cash.
On the mobile app how do you toogle between layers ? I click on map legend see all the layers, i mark just one but when it goes back to the map all layers are showing
Ok, I was able to find out how (totally not user friendly) Once inside the map - click on map legend - select layer (s) - click on the left arrow to back to maps - click left once again to go back to "saved" screen - click on explore on the bottom of the screen and you will be go back to the map screen
wow
I use ziplock bags and that’s great.
I know that cash is important to have while traveling. Just lock it in a safe, take what you need with a credit card. When in France, I use up my cash and only used my card when needed.
Compression cubes only compress the edges. Typically the max thickness remains the same as the middle of the cube has no compression.
Thanks for the tips! Have me trip booked Dec.1st! 15 day trip! Can't wait! Planning for Phuket, KOH Phi Phi, Chiang Mai, Bangkok.
How can i create one on the google maps app?
