  Hi there! i have a problem with mine 4tx, it has a rev lag between 2 and 3k, mix screw set on 2.5 revolution, jet needle on middle position and when i rev it up it chokes between 2-3k and runs fine over 3k. Carbs were ultrasonic cleaned, all o-rings replaced, only throttle diaphragm and air cut diaphragm are old. I also repaired broken choke tube on one of carbs. Sparkplugs are back. It would seem like it gets to lean between 2-3k cause if i cover carbs inlets when reving il behaves much better, meaning this rev lag is not so obvious. I am thinking about replacing throttle diaphragm but old ones are soft and not damaged anyway. Do you have any ideas what to check before getting into "spent $" mode? Regards!

  Difficult to say, but yes you could be right with your idea that its running lean. often the rubber looks good but at the end its causing some air leaks that we cant see by eye. in your case i would check with brake cleaner spraying on the suspicious places if its changing the idle....when the idle is reacting than you know, there is an air leak. than i would check all the things like air-filter, loose screws of air intake, fuel line, fuel filter ect ect... and i would check if the throttle diaphragm will move correctly by blowing air in the vacuum intake of the carbs i wish you good luck :) greets

  Nice job, super clean moves. usually i made a mess of oil and dirty grease... can I ask some link? i have the same bike, and i am looking for some special maintenance for the 75.000 km. And another quetion, i have the cap totally rusty, what primer did you use before black paint? Some guy crashed my bike on the spot one year ago, and i can't fix my plastic front panel (black part arount tachimeters),and another scratch on the right side. maybe did you know some spare part seller? (mine is the black and red livrea).

  Exactly :) my friend who's driving got it for a test-ride from the local dealership. At this time the R36 was mind blowing! today people would say its an almost "boring" car ;(

  yes, most of non asphalt roads are closed up with barriers. no real trails here, but the tet somehow needed to cross the country to get to the south.

  @Jeffrey Stundon They only look lyk this through videos bcuz of how the video camera captures LED lights, in person it looks just lyk normal lights no stobe effect or any flickering..

  @thedan2win sounds like a funny scenario, but the 2 guys are friends and they are from luxembourg. they tested the car when it was released. ^^
