  I have both an 08 and 19 my 08 feels faster somehow with the 6speed. I have an acceleration video on my phone of the 08 and itlooks a bit faster too it shifts to 2nd at 35 ish mph and the 19 at around 30 but the 8speed shifts way quicker idk someday ill compare both i dont like dogging my 19 like i do my 08.

  Its real safe until your car is accelerating out of control and you cant turn the car off. My wifes Toyota Avalon floor matt would get stuck under the pedal and accelerate out of control if you hit it and I was unable to turn the car off only thing that stopped it was my reaching down and pulling the floor matt out. There should always be a kill switch for cars. Keys were safer.

  That 8 speed is messing this car up. I have an Avalon TRD. I lost to a 4th gen Avalon which makes no sense since my car has higher horsepower and torque numbers.

  I think this car’s plenty quick enough seeing as I’m driving a 2018 Sentra that’s a good 2 seconds slower. I might try to get a new one when I get my tax money.

  its the damn Toyota transmission, it will last forever but its made to save gas. these cars get up and go when passing on the highway or doing a roll race though. hope u didnt get the maxima the reliability on those is so questionable, some last 80k some last 150k. if you want performance but not a sports car i would go honda accord or like a civic si/type R. if you want Toyota reliability and still kind of fun to drive buy a 6 speed camry or avalon. still about as fast as car in the video but geared so much better and a little quicker 0-60
