Your videos are greaattt. Ive been watching them occasionally over the last few months and everytime i learn more and more stuff
Glad to hear it! Thanks for watching
Nice intro.
I agree with @gisgler, well done presentation of the basic equipment except for the helmet. I don't know what's needed for gym climbing but outdoors a HELMET is ESSENTIAL for protecting your most important piece of equipment.
The production is awesome 👌 Why did you stopped?
I would use a harness to walk him. It’s safer than around his be neck. Also, that neck collar looks too tight. If you have too pull him back while on a leash, he could get hurt with that collar.
He is wearing a harness. Seems like you didn’t actually watch the video
@@JesseMontgomery, Yes. I watched your video. I see that you use a very thin harness and covered by the cat’s hair. I’m used to seeing harnesses with more coverage - in case the cat has to be lifted by the leash in an emergency. I do see it now since you mentioned.
Great video! People don't consider that when you buy something, you are giving up time twice - the time that it took to make the money to buy the thing, and then the time that thing steals from you as you use it/maintain it and the time it takes away from other things in your life.
Like the part ",,,and because human cannot agree on anything,,," 😁👍
How much is a setup like that?
❤❤
What about helmets? Essential or not?
For climbing outside I would say yes. A lot of it depends on the area, quality of the rock, safety of the routes, and your own comfort level. My opinion it’s better to just always wear one when climbing outside
Love the 80/20 concept turned on to climbing! Good Stuff!
Great thorough video. Thanks!
Perfect video, 5 stars +. Thanks a lot
Thanks!
Doesn't the overhand knot prevent the sliding x from sliding and increasing the chance you load one anchor more than the other?
I'll admit I know nothing about climbing but only Americans would say 5.15 is higher than say 5.9 and then call it the decimal system :)
for the 45 seconds on 15 seconds off exercise should we be in a dead hang?
01:30 😂LMAO
And 04:30 jeez xddd
Great video! thank you so much

I’ve been climbing with no gear at all, I haven’t had a fall but a couple times I got stressed, none of my friends will come with me on the best climbs with out ropes… they don’t mind a 15m scramble… some of them. lol thanks for the video

Must be a trustworthy guy, just look at the surname. 😊
This was very useful and straight to the point. I was reading a manga called climber. It cleared all my confusion
I subbed because of this video 🙂 p.s I love your warm vibe 😊
Excellent video. Easy to understand. 👏
13:25 Are you saying that meat and dairy products, almost entirely fat and protein, produce "fast-burning energy" in excess of all those oats and rice and beans? That's difficult to believe.
Roland: I don't like water and winds. Now I need sushi
Good advice and tips.
Thanks!
I got my first 5.12 after 3 months of climbing almost every day I’m stoked
Awesome!
From moving so often I realized after the first go it just wasn’t worth shipping everything, was better off selling it all and starting over
