Warren Zevon gets a writing credit on this song, which doesn't sound like him at all, being a really sweet "you blind spotted me" falling-in-love song with a great catch line. Zevon died in 2003, so I tried to find who originally recorded the song and I can't find anything but the Coors' version. (Maybe somebody can help me out?) The Corrs do a great job with this song, it's perfect for them, it contains their oft-used themes of reality vs. dreams ("don't ever want to wake up") and light vs. dark, and Andrea, as usual, has just the right pace and little delays in her delivery to make it really catchy. "You hit my ground running . . ." is just great poetry. Their own songs are great but when they take on songs by others (like "One Day Like This" or "No Frontiers") they kill it, both musically and the metaphorical meaning, even when difficult or freighted. Everybody is always going on about how great they look but, speaking personally, I like them because they're just so damn smart.

And I agree with you they are real.musicians...they know how to make a song more beautiful...esp. Andrea some purist may not like her but it's her voice, interpretations that draws me in, and introduce me to those old songs that didn't know even exist esp. not the popular ones.

I am and always have been a huge Corrs fan. My favourite band ever. The girls could have pulled a cheap trick with their stunning looks but no its all about talent & ability. I was at Lansdowne. Their music has lived with me through every human emotion. Love, loss, hope, despair. Having given up on life I am currently planning my suicide. I only want Corrs songs played at my funeral. "Forgiven not forgotten" is my all time track but this is so hauntingly stunning it has to make the list. As a hardcore fan I insist on closing with "Toss the feathers" as I am buried! Andrea, Sharon, Caroline. Thanks for the memories. Your devoted fan Mark XXX
