    Is there any use to put Cera Tec in stock S450 coupe (the m276 engine) with 77k km, if I am using 5W-40 Oil in a country with rarely max temps of over 30 and as low as -12 (very close to Greece hehe)?

    The more I look at it the weirder the crank pulley gets.. The only part that puts any clamping force on the pulley is the edge of a washer. Not how bolts usually work. If the clamping force is absorbed by the nylon and the pin jig is "loose" the square key and pin jig moves around as much as the nylon allows. This would mean the only part keeping the pulley from spinning on the crank is the loose square key and stock key. Plus whatever force the edge of the washer puts on the pulley which can´t be much compared to stock. The stock design seems to rely on clamping force and the woodruff key is just for indexing. I know people run these and I haven´t seen any complaints but it just seems odd.

    This was the crank pulley I was considering as afaik it’s the only aftermarket one that is damped and isn’t a modified stock one. Not too exited for it now… that fit and nylon bushing isn’t confidence inspiring. Also why use imperial unit parts on a metric car 🤦‍♂️

    Hello Tasos, regarding your camera setup, the reason why they shut off after 20 minutes could be because of a limiter DSLR cameras have. When importing cameras, there are two types: video and photography. Videos must be able to record 30 minutes or longer continuously while photography cameras (like your Nikon DSLR) can only record video for less than 30 minutes otherwise they are considered video cameras thus are subject to higher import taxes and fees. The solution to your problem may be a consumer camcorder

    My 2013 CLS63 is getting rebuilt right now and is at the same stage you guys are - the exact parts arrived literally earlier today. I was shocked how many parts are interchangeable with the W204, mainly underside covers, fender liners, crash structures and plastic brackets - but few of them were marked for cross-reference!

    Tasos yes, A 204XXXXXX is a part for the W204. Only Mercedes can be inefficient and wasteful enough to make two different versions of a part that fits in same space & performs an identical function. I love my C63, but moments like these have convinced me not to buy another Benz ever. Toyota is run by much more intelligent people.

    Love your video Tasos I would like your advice on something. If cr overheats from cold start after being in idle for maybe 20 would you say it’s thermostat or temp sensor?

    That pulley is the worst design I have seen. Use stock pulley and change SC pulley.

    That damper pulley totally changes the balance of the crankshaft. That thing looks a little suspect to me. And my feelings are hurt you don't contact me when you need 3/16" anything or 7/32"😉

    Hello sir, Im messaging i hopes you can help me as its been very hard for anyone too diagnose my problem. Im getting a chatter/rattle sound from the right side of the cabin on light acceleration around 1500rpms till 2500 rpms , there is a constant chattering sound mostly after going in to 2nd gear, cold or warm does not matter its always there but blew 1500rpms there is no abnormal sound, only when i lightly push the acceleration paddle that this sound comes and stays till 2500 rpms, when i let go of the paddle the sound goes away. I do jot have adjuster rattle on startup and have checked the adjusters they are locked. I have zero exhaust leaks or any other loose parts, have replaced cats , oem headers and gasket didnt make any difference.     I sell my car at 275k km original engine but i change oil every 3k km and i use liqui moly 10w60 oil and ceratic i think i have luck 😂

    The window rubbers on my S450 C217 (facelift) have the exact same cracks and these door trims are also broken - classic

    The plastic windshield wash fluid reservoir on both my W204 C63 & my C350 cracked. Very time consuming to replace. Mercedes does not know how to make durable plastic parts for the engine compartment. Toyota offered to help but Mercedes declined.

    I’ve had this happen to me. The plastic was brittle and the action of removing and refitting the hose connector damaged it.

    I switch my 2014 E63 , high temp coolant to pink , and leave the inter cooler on blue coolant, so when the coolant leak on the ground or dry on the under panel , I will know which side of the coolant is leaking. most of this coolant pipes are common issues

    I don't know yours but my coolants from intercooler and radiator expansion reservoir is actually mixing in the small tubes that you can see when openning the bonnet

Do you have M157 motor? the coolant should be separated, the high temp coolant is too hot for intercooler to be efficient, low temp coolant is never leak on me , but the high side is always something leaking, i change all the pipes and lines on high side, I just change the radiator this monday because it’s leaking coolant.
