Does drinking Tumeric helps heal the open wound faster?
Can I replace the tip with a rubber quad bottom?
Yep
You mentioned in the video about sketchers Go Walk however didn’t mention which is better and why.. slip in or go walk? I am confused - i need to buy for my mother who has gone through knee replacement surgery recently
Great idea for another video. Go walk is purely an easy walking shoe like around the house vs slip in for outdoor and more active walking
That's crazy my dearest loved one have a little hunchback at the top
Was he good on crutches? Did you touch his crutches?
He was impatient with the crutches and tempted to put weight on his broken ankle. I needed to find options that worked, the scooter was great. AND red light too
@@janetdeethept6259 Was he in a cast?
Good shoes at first, but then the lack of firm support starts to appear. I feel they end up damaging your feet.
Regular, daily use of shoes actually break down around 6 months
Wow! Godsend.
What else would you like to see or learn?
These exact shoes are on sale often at “Shoe Station” and in “Marshal’s” so they are a real bargain at about 35-$40 on sale now.
Wow. What's a shoe station?

I bought my first pair of skecher slip ins about 6 weeks ago...and I'll be buying another pair when I wear these out.
I totally believe in buying things that work and work well for you
I have been using a walking stick on my right side because I have osteonecrosis and ms spasticity and I felt like my right leg was giving out a lot and i was able to catch my self from falling using it on my right side. Is that advisable?
In PT, we advise having a stick on opposite side of your weakness. This way the stick can redistribute your weight off the weak side.
You just need to push the button to open and pull it to close.
What about the Atkins bar chocolate Carmel bar ? 15 g protein,,1 gram sugar, 10 g fiber 180calories sugar alcohol4 g total 17 g carbs 3 net carbs would you say this would be good
It's not the "best " option but definitely better than candy or cliff bars
How can a hemiplegic use these under desk elliptical and prevent external hip rotation while using it?
1. Use a theraband to tie both thighs 2. Use hands to keep legs in alignment 3. Sit in a taller chair Let me know how these suggestions go
Can i use for GOUT?
I wouldn't use a cream. There are other things we can do for a gout flare up
Thanks! Love your review. How loud is the sound? I work as an online psychologist and wonder If I van use it without dustracting my patients.
If it's on a low resistance, it will be quiet
Thank you for this info
Great review.
What is the cost price
I believe $140 on amazon
Can you stand on the chair?
No
I just started using Voltaren for arthritis in my hands. It seems to work fairly well. I also bought some store brand cbd gel for my back. That was a waste of 15 dollars.
Yea. We've noticed in practice that THC, CBD, hemp is more placebo than effective
I was looking for info on step-in shoes. I have worn clogs for a long time, I have neuro-muscular issues (MS and fibromyalgia) and I'm 67, so getting down to tie is impossible. I was wearing the clogs today and fell in the pet store. There was a PT in there who helped everyone get me up and she told me the shoes were part of my problem so I'm looking to try to find something affordable with the slide-in feature. Thanks for the review, this helps. :)
This is exactly why I started my channel. Lifestyle solutions from a PT perspective
Do you have to sit all the way down? Can you just tap the seat with your bum and go back up?
Tap the bum on the chair, but go even pace or you'll lose your balance going to fast
Two things I don't see .what if there car is higher than that low car you're showing? Or if once they scoot their butt in and cannot move that leg to slide in stretch band? Nevertheless I think I learned something.
You're right! I should do a video with a SUV
Great job!
Hurts knees and feet slip
If your feet slip and knees hurt, your chair is probably too low. Add a cushion or taller chair and let me know if you feel better!
Thank you so much, this was so helpful, any suggestions for achillies tendinitis?
Stretch your hamstrings and strengthen your glutes! Let me know how it goes after 3-5 days
How many prices in this walker ta da chair?
$140 on Amazon
How long and how many times a day ? I’m guessing 5 minutes 3 times a day.
If you are starting to exercise, start small. 5 minutes 3x day. But if you're consistently moving throughout the day, build your stamina with 10-15 minutes and add in forward and backward movement. Thanks for a great question!
Very informative I’m helping my mom with back pain I’m going with bio freeze
don't forget water and easy movement too
I would wash it first with water or saline, then use hydrogen peroxide. H202 works. I've used it on road wash recently, it worked like a charm. I personally believe hydrogen peroxide actually speeds up the healing process.
I'm really sure you can help yourself to be healthier. I already did that thanks to Weedborn.
Great tips but why do they address those helping a family member? I’m someone who needs those tips but is also a KZread user. It would be better to address the tips to anyone who has trouble getting in and out of a car or is assisting someone who has trouble doing that.
great point, thank you. Anything special you would like answered in a video?
@@janetdeethept6259 - Nothing special but I will watch your others. I had been getting in and out of the car one leg at a time which was getting harder and harder to do. I switched to this method and found it's easier & I think safer. So thanks again & thanks for your openness to my suggestion that future videos be addressed to seniors themselves as well as caretakers.
What about getting in and out of an SUV? My mother has a locked left knee and is a bit heavyweight
I got myself some Snoop Dogg Skecher shoes they look nice and comfortable they don’t look like no oridinary senior shoes at all tho it’s 🔥I’m watchin this
0:09 doesn't seem like it 💀🗿
MY Skechers may not be this same shoe. but yesterday i triped over the front of the rubber sole, and went flying. i broke my shoulder. no more skechers for me!
Sometimes we trip because our foot doesn't clear the floor. I hope your shoulder recovery is fast.
Yes, I'm well aware. However, this particular shoe, and no other, has caused this specific problem. Plenty of people's feet don't clear the floor, but this shoe's front sole sticks to the floor and stops dead in it's tracks. the Go Walk shoe.I've googled and found many others have stumbled, tripped, or in the worst case, fallen.@@janetdeethept6259
they all stink do not work
What about arnica? Works with most pain for me.
What is the name of the chair?
Ta Da Chair and the brand is STEP2GOLD
Good point !
Thanks!
Do one for drinks on how to get in n out of car....thx
What's the weight?
3-4 lbs lightweight in my opinion
Less than 1kg.
Can you warn us if any propylene glycol, BHT, parabens, phalates, and phenols in these products? These can cause a bundle of health problems.
Thank-you
Verty helpful video! Thank you so much!
You're very welcome!
Hi, I have a 5 mo old hip and will be visiting Japan in a month. In Japan, you have to slip your shoes off a lot. For walking, hip support, and the convenience would these be adequate to take to Japan?
Most definitely! Have fun!
Donald Trump seems to have some of these signs of dementia. Is that a real possibility? What other aspects should one observe?
Thank you so much
I'm 78 with what I would describe as minimal arthritis pain (0.05 on pain scale of 1-10) but the pain is still present and noticeable. I now use solely a wooden walking stick rather than a cane. The walking stick keeps my center of gravity stable, while a cane subtly alters that center of gravity as a person subconsciously leans into the cane. Hugh Laurie, who played the role of Dr. House, turned to using a cane constantly to get into his role as an actor and it apparently ended up harming his posture. Also, I have tripped with aluminum walking sticks, but I have never tripped with a wooden cane. I notice that old people don't walk, they wobble; the walking stick keeps the gait stable. So yes, I would go wtht walking stick rather than cane.
love this! Let me know if you have a question that you want answered
