  I’ve had so many of these and i’m just gritting my teeth here. This one is big. Regardless of size, Never poke the top. Come in along the edge of the nail back toward the cuticle and cut downward. these things go deep. All that top skin will be lost as it heals and when it comes off there’ll be quite a bit of dried, tacky pus underneath. Then that whole area will be tender as you grow new skin.

  Please don't drain these yourselves, go to a hospital and have health professional do it, a follow-up infection due to lack of proper sterilisation and procedure could be a lot worse than what you have to begin with

  i get this sometimes from clipping my nails, but it’s never THAT bad like in the video it’s actually so minor that my finger looks normal, but it’s a bit painful when pressure is applied

  Very satisfying. I've just got rid of mine. It was so painful and the relief was instant. BTW probably a good idea if you drop your needle like in the video to rub it with an alcohol wipe so to not get any more germs or infections in the already infected and sore AF finger

  Awesome Paranichia! Just a FYI if this ever happens again. The infection almost always starts for bacteria being introduced in the cuticle area. Where the nail and skin meet. It’s usually the place it really hurts the most where the infection started. If u look the darker almost black spot is most likely where urs started. If u poke it there the pus will come out better. Also using ur own fingers to get it out works better than sliding the pin. All ur doin is squishing it around under the skin. That one was a BIG one wow!
