    I've been using this same model for around 4 years. I work with up to 480 volts. It has worked greeeeaaaat for me and it has NCV option he didn't even mention 🤷. Just hold down the Select button on any setting and it goes into a non touch voltage tester (NCV)!!!

    I have never used any kind of mower in my entire life and I have no idea how to start this thing. There are no explicit instructions on how to start it for first time users. Why do they assume everyone who buys a lawn mower has already used a mower??? Growing up we never had a lawn mower and I have always rented and never needed one. So how the hell do you start the damn thing??? SPECIFICALLY.

    Emporia is just a start up with 30 bros that do a very mediocre business. They treat employees like sh1t, discriminate immigrants and women. I worked there for more than a year, was treated like sh1t, they laid me off for no reason and my goal now is to destroy their reputation. Why? Because this is what bros' deserve. Sh1t people making sh1t business. Buy another brand. Emporia is POOR QUALITY.

    I am NOT a fan of this tester. It's lack of user programmable defaults i.e. permanently begins with AC, 5 min auto shutoff, constant "beeping" (also shown in the video) makes this tester annoying to use. Stay with the Fluke - it's a MUCH better unit.

    I have a 14,000 BTU version and it cools the entire 2nd and 3rd floor lofts of my house. Works very well but it recently started leaking and I can't tell what the issue is, the drains all appear unobstructed. I even stuck something in there and there is no debris clogging them. I only ever use cooling mode but it leaks tons of water. I finally got a tub to set it in, but I'm afraid of electrical problems if it's sitting in an inch of water. Edit - Finally found out that it's the "Dry Mode" drain that has been leaking. Which makes no sense since I only use cooling mode and cooling mode is supposed to drain out of the bottom drain. I don't really understand the problem but now I have it draining into a bucket and the unit still cools very well which is what really matters. Very annoying problem though.

    How does one open the unit to clean inside? I don't mean the easily removable 'filter.' I am getting an acrid, moldy smell and it must be cleaned. No instructions came with unit. Also, drainage hose is very difficult to secure as it can't take any bending...but it exits horizontally and I must put it down through the floor to the basement. Unit is posing a lot of difficulty for these reasons.

    the "delay" is so you don't blow the wand out of your hand on higher pressures, also a ramp on the motor and gearbox, pistons i'm sure apricate the ramp up as well. Get into high pressure like 15K @ 20gpm and you'll really see what i'm talking about. if you pin that system you'll spin the operator of the wand right around if they are strong enough to hold on haha.

    I’m in south Louisiana and looking for something to help with the heat and not bring my electric bill up to $600. Also a good way to keep the house cool should a hurricane knock the power out. I’ve only seen window units and they are an eyesore (it would not be a problem if I had to, but if I can avoid it, even better!) But I would love to hear if this is a good option for what I am searching for? I maintain the central air, but the heat and the amount of windows are not in my favor. I don’t care about noise, I have 4 kids and don’t mind hearing white noise over “mommmn, so and so won’t get out of the bathroom”

  • @aaronstestlab
    @aaronstestlab10 күн бұрын

    I’m sure it would work well. But, although I’ve never experienced it, I’ve read that portable AC’s can fill up with condensate in hot and humid climates. At least with window units you don’t have that problem. Have you looked into the Midea-U?

    My entire home is only 2,000 square feet. My kitchen and living space are where my common sense of “nature light is awesome” failed me and the sun is coming in from about 4pm till night. I exaggerated my electric bill, but it is still pretty high ($290) but it’s not even summer yet. I also live in a flood zone, so my home had to be elevated to unsightly heights and I fear that a window unit would be too big of a hazard. I am 5 feet 2 inches tall and can walk under my home and only need to slightly bend. I have blackout shades in each window and it helps, but the central air is not shutting off during the day and it is on average 75 (in the evening) degrees inside and we keep it set on 70.

    @@aaronstestlab I have ran into a video on that specific unit tonight. I think the design is pretty brilliant for someone in my shoes. I am really looking around to see what options are out there and what will be the best option for our needs. We have had more power outages than I can remember in the past few months alone. Luckily it was not too hot yet and most happened at night. Aside from the few things I don’t particularly care for, I don’t like the amount of bugs that are potentially able to get in. I did purchase an electric flyswatter a few days ago and could have a little fun, but I also need some rest.
