Canadiana

Canadiana is an award-winning documentary series that follows host Adam Bunch as he and filmmakers Kyle Cucco and Ashley Brook make their way across the country in search of forgotten or unusual tales from Canadian history. From Halifax Harbour to Vancouver Island, from major cities to secluded towns, Canadiana digs up the mind-blowing true stories that contribute to Canada's unique identity.

We're working as hard as we can to bring you more of Canadiana! We only have a handful of releases each year, but we take time to make each episode as compelling and high-quality as possible within our limited resources. To help support the continuation of this series you can visit us at patreon.com/thisiscanadiana where it's possible to sign up for as little as $1 / month. You're also supporting us simply by subscribing, liking, and commenting on our videos-thank you!

It’s a good thing that this was the only brothel, ever . I guess after a bit it was not worth it any more so old man Drumpf took his money and ran.

Yes Americas built the Alaskan Hyway, but why did America wait so long to join the push against Hitler? Your President wanted to share weapons with Europeans fighting already but your government would not allow it sad statement think of the lives that could have been saved with those early weapons?

Of course his grandfather was a pimp! Half a million in today’s money in one summer. They must have had people in line waiting to get the room cleaned and the bed changed. No surprise that the foundation of the Trump fortune was illegal activity. His conviction this week is all the sweeter.

The battle of San Juan Island was a fight to have the control of that lovely Island. I only know of it when I bought 5 acres there but I gave it away when I realized the USA was no longer my home. I sought solitaire in the deep sea after 4 tour's in Vietnam, made some money after living below for years and found a home away. War was a terrible teacher. My advice is stay away from the madness of war if you can. 😂 in

What sort life would you suggest we get? Ignorance? Learning the depravity of the Trump's family life IS getting a life. One with knowledge, giving a person perspective on who the current Trump family are and their continuence of depravity.

This pretty much seems like a hit piece disguised as History. Granted it is history and the things mentioned were inline with the times. So, once again, someone taking things out of context to try to make Trump look bad.

Trump is bad. No need to take anything out of context, he does his own advertising of his badness every day - if you care to see and listen.

Just had to point out the blacks had white leaders and were given pic axes and shovels instead of rifles and sent to the front lines. Does this overnourished white boy give a thought to what BS he is spreading? Mixing fact with fiction. This is the worst kind of man. Thumbs down.

Just wanna say that our government funded media projects go hard. This is an amazingly perfect example of using AI as a tool to create compelling content, but still very clearly requiring creators and their handlers (lol organized people) to put it all together and make an interesting story look as visually thrilling as it can be without actual footage. I will say, it's a bit heavy on the ai, like, no need to upscale a black & white actual photograph from the 1800s unless the only image you can get is super small pixels. even then, great art is not restored by smoothing out the details in a painting but rather by preserving the medium of it's time. So like, filter up those old photos to make em look more legit, but that's truly my only note. Fantastic channel. I'm all in.

I love these videos that show other countries other places . I've never been anywhere you are I've never will get to go anywhere. And if it wasn't for KZread and the internet I would never even know that any of these places exist except for maps and grade school, high school but they didn't have the pictures that these videos have. I've been living on a boat in the Florida Keys a little island and I haven't been anywhere in 25 years. I haven't even slept on land in 15. The water sure is pretty, but it's what surrounds the water that is so green. I want to see a mountain I want to see a snow I want to see Frost on the field and feel the cold on my face again.

You keep referring to a sovereign nation and people who call themselves "Canada", but that people and nation never existed. Canada was historically British, and to some degree is still secretly controlled by Britain today. The US Revolutionary War, Civil War and numerous assassinations were plotted and run from Canada. The goal for America was never to threaten or molest innocent Canadians, but to rid North America finally from British perfidy. The US founders were right to fear this poisonous British influence on their border, as it eventually infiltrated and corrupted America itself, which is also no longer a sovereign nation or people, but is controlled and dominated by foreign corporate, military and financial elites.

it only a few blocks, will take about 15 minutes to walk thru. On the good side, there werent any of the mentally ill / addicts in this area, versus Pandora street where there is a bonafide encampment. On any given day, there are hundreds of deranged freaks walking around Victoria, they are everywhere. what a disgrace.
