Movin Weight Fishing

Movin Weight Fishing

Hey guys, my name is Adam Mellusi and I was born and raised in Jupiter Florida. I've grown up on the water and have always had a love for fishing, it's my life. I commercial fish for a living and recreational fish for fun, I started making KZread videos of me fishing back in November of 2019, and now it has turned into this channel today.

I live in Mississippi and use to take 1 shark a year for the meat. I've been educating everyone I can by giving fresh shark to anyone willing to try it and spreading the truth about its table fair. we are slowly seeing more rec fishermen taking shark for food. if you can educate rec fishermen to take them the population will fall down to manageable levels but protected sharks will have to be changed at a federal level before states will change. just a opinion from a person that has fished the gulf for over 40 years

I charter and commercial fish in Puerto Rico. Used to be you’d go a whole year without getting Sharked a single time. Now you can hardly get any fish to the boat let alone a snapper. I’m so sick of hearing myself complain about it I just applied for the permit and I’m going to start targeting them which is a cake walk bc you can’t go anywhere to get away from them anymore. I know no one here is feeding them so I’m really not sure what the deal is. We had a heavy yellowfin migration about 3 years ago and the sharks showed up towards the end of the season to steal 80% of our catch until the tuna disappeared. The sharks never left and eat everything now getting more and more aggressive especially around my divers.

65 degree water temp is cold in Jan for SOUTH Florida... People continuously generalize all of Florida together when describing the climate and geography of SOUTH Florida. In North Florida while y'all are 65 degrees water temp most of North5lorida/Panhandle water temp are between lower to mid 50's to 60 degrees in shallow sunny water. Spend a Jan in Tallahassee and when you experience a low of 19 with a high of 42 on a back end of a Arctic Cold front with wind chills ranging from 9 degrees in early am and remaining in upper teens to lowe 20's all day. This same front will "chill Miami, Naples, Palm Beach and the Lauderdale, to upper 30s possibly but mostly mid to upper 40's with high temps in low to mid 60's... Basically our average Jan North Florida/Panhandle weather . So can't feel all that sorry when our Avg Jan high and low is frigid for South Fl with low avg Jan upper 50s to 60 and highs avg in mid to upper 70's . These are avgs... Swing I. Weather producing above normal and below normal temps and precip are always a factor to consider.. like anywhere else. Savvy?
