  Comments saying how beautiful it was back then 😂😂😂 it’s through a lense of someone who captured the perceived beauty. It was a sad situation then and it still is. People were dying of “haija” even with a population of less than 150k back then. It was so unsanitary

  Hello from Oregon, USA -- thank-you for this relaxing look at the Kathmandu Valley from an era when daily life was much less crowded and not as busy as today. For 2 1/2 years in the mid-1970s, I lived in a small village about 7 hours walk NW of Pokhara and always enjoyed travelling to Kathmandu and Bhaktapur 2 or 3 times a year. Thanks again for bringing to mind a fun and adventurous time in my life. Best wishes to you.
