  Best way to do this is as soon as you get his health to last couple of hits, get on the torrent and start hitting, as soon as it twitches just run with torrent. It'll always work and timing is perfect too

  If you play as a prophet you get access to the best incantation in the game and you can buff it with flame grant me strength and defeat margit at base level

  doing a new playthrough on pc so i could play with my friends, reduvia, shackle, rogier + jellyfish summon (i was gonna just use poison daggers but forgot to buy the recipe) worked better than i thought

  @@willdogdog1788my man I main mage almost every play though. Love it. Nights comet with staff of loss in off hand is absolutely phenomenal. You will be getting up to 1k damage most of the time with 80 int. It’s the bread and butter of any mage.

  @AdamCroft-ux1dt I thought that too, but he does. It's tough to do since it's timing based and if you do it wrong he stays dead forever.

  When he comes to attack just run right back outside the room he gets stuck behind the door and you can try and hit him through the wall if you have bloody slash or a weapon with a good aoe attack

  @@willdogdog1788 here's a tip for when you get to Raya Lucaria: Renalla is resistant to magic, she still gets hurt but melee weapons do more

  Yeah he's the only boss mage build really have an easy time beating because he's attacks are very slow in his arena is Goofy big I'm saying this as a mage build this will be the last time you have a very easy main boss

  @@willdogdog1788 as a fellow mage build do you have my condolences at least some of the DLC bosses are going to be a joke if you level faith and intelligence seriously go the hybrid route it's going to put you about 25 levels higher than the average player but Black blade is worth it and so is black flame you can find the first black flame spell inside the castle trust me that plus rot you're going to start melting bosses
