It started with my grand mother teaching me, than traveling overseas I loved experiencing different kinds of foods, and would make friends with chefs. I also love to experiment with variations of vegetables and meats to explore how they can enhance the meal.

Saying oh he said chopped cheese backwards so I had to leave immediately..... @cookingwithaveteran thanks for the vote of confidence but I have to respectfully disagree with you. I am just a guy, not "better" than any veterans who love our country. Juvenile type 1 diabetes at 8 years old is why the Marine Corps and Army both said "no" when I asked to help them on my 18th birthday, therefore I'm jealous of you. My devotion to friends has no limit because I've gotten rid of any of them who don't deserve what I can offer. I'm willing to die to save our country or friends who have proven they are worth it.

A few years ago when the government sent every American a check without asking permission or if its needed, I asked a veteran in line next to me if I could buy her groceries. She smiled a lot, accepted my offer and I was happy to help a veteran. Thank you to all patriots. If anyone is inspired, you have my permission to duplicate my kind gesture.

Buttered Sourdough, bacon, onion, grilled cheddar cheese sandwich was my dinner. It didn't disappoint. I'm going to make 500 of them now for tomorrow.

Thanks I needed to hear all of that. I'm 46 going on 47 (Sept), and a massive stroke survivor (2013). I'm disabled (wheelchair) & primarily homebound. Most of my friends kinda just fell away. But I have a few that check in on me, but mostly I'm alone. Thanks for telling me that I DO still matter.
