My favourite Pod cast. I used to Love Mad Magazine (only the American version) when I was a kid. This is my mad magazine in adulthood. A great satirical take on the absurdities of modern living.

I accidentally ran across Dan’s stand up special while going down an Ari Mattis rabbit hole and I was shocked at how good it was. Truly, it was incredible. You got to get to the Mothership brother. Get on the Rogan Podcast. I honestly can’t believe you aren’t one of the biggest comedians in the world. Fucking swim if you have too 😂 Get over here!!

Re generics: An Aust nurse I met last year advised not to get generic drugs. They said there are now three different markets, with different quality drugs. They said the ‘lower quality’ market manufacturers are audited only once every five years, and are given warning of each audit. African doctors reportedly prescribe two to three times the recommended dose, as the quality is so poor. Do with this what you may.

As a kid I used to devour Mad Magazine (the new York version) because I was drawn to the satire, absurdity and biting sarcasm. For me, neurotic news is like the adult version, despite it still largely being immature.

Why does she even go to a live performance if she needs special food, light , and possible medical attention! It's a small room and she's sitting right at the front. It's the same as if someone pulls their phone out and starts scrolling through it while you're having a conversation. It distracts the comedian, and ruins the audience vibe. Sometimes the audience makes or breaks the show.
