@@Deedeechronicles i use not your mothers curl cream, hair gel, Eva NYC split end mender and i just ran out of my not your mothers mousse. For washing i normally use L’Oréal Paris but recently i’ve been using Suave keratin infused shampoo and conditioner. I shampoo my roots twice and then condition my ends 😊

@@Y2k.0bss3ssed okay. Firstly, what they dont tell anyone is that after using this curl creams and gels, your hair tends to get dry and frizzy which can lead to breakage. Personally, i dont use gels for my hair, asides my edges and only when my edges are like rough rough and i wash it off immediately I'm home. so I'll say cut down on the use of curl creams and gel, stop completely for now if possible, there is a possibility that your hair is not loving it. Secondly, DEEP conditioning should be for your entire hair(not the ends alone and make sure its a deep conditioner, not an ordinary conditioner) whenever you wash your hair, ALWAYS deep condition. Do not skip it! Make sure it has a good slip so it can detangle your hair properly. Also, use leave in conditioners, the brands you mentioned have good products so you can decide to keep up with it. Make sure the shampoo you are using is very moisturising. If you use heat on your hair, cut down on heat tools. Lastly, your hair texture can determine how tangled up it can get, just like mine, detangling my hair can be dramatic, so i try to detangle properly and carefully before making any protective styles. That way, my hair wont tangle when i take it down. While on your protective style, dont manipulate it too much, keep it hydrated and moisturised, use bonnet\satin pillowcases so it doesnt get tangled up. This is so long! ha ha. Happy reading LOL! Deep conditioners are to be used only during wash days, if you are low porosity, when you apply the deep conditioner use a heat cap or steamer to help the conditioner penetrate your cuticles. You can use the leave in conditioner every 2-3 days in a week depending on how well it moisturize your hair.

You don't need excessive products because it can lead to buildup which can lead to more drama like itching scalp and dandruff. Hydrate your hair first before using your leave in, use it moderately then seal with an oil or cream.

There are a lot of people with multiple textured hair and it is very normal. You can't use a curl products for your entire hair because your hair is 'pin straight'. Do your normal straight hair routine for the major part of your hair (washing etc) but since the little curly part gets frizzy, I'll suggest you get a moisturizing leave in and good sealant(oil/cream) that is best for curly hair so it can always be moisturized. That way, the hair is not affected. Also, take your time with your hair, when it gets to that curly part, sort it out carefully (detangling, parting, moisturizing, etc).

@@MelodyWalczak To straighten a curly hair will require the use of heat or chemicals and I will not suggest that at all. Embrace the curls, there is nothing weird about it, my elder sister has extremely curly edges and I absolutely love it. I can only suggest styling your hair in a way that won't make you feel weird like center parted hairstyles and other hairstyles. Honestly, there is nothing weird about it, you can check for inspo on how to styles multiple textured hair, I hope that helps.

@@Deedeechronicles i absolutely suck at doing hair i can only do simple things like 2 normal braids ponytails and like heat tools i can’t even do a messy bun or anything so i find it hard to find styles that i can do and that look good.. any advice on learning how to be better at those? i want to specifically learn buns i think it would be cute to do a messy bun and have the curly pieces out by my ears or like french braiding
