  Greetings Sonia. I am from Pakistan. I am learning Malayalam for the purposes of comparative Dravidian linguistical study with Brahui, the Dravidian language of Pakistan and remnant of the Harappan culture. So far I have enjoyed the journey, found so many cognates and aspire to speak both Malayalam and Tamil, due to their mutual synchronicity. I have to say, Malayalam is a beautiful language, and I love your channel. Thank You for sharing it with the world. Sending you warm regards and salutations.

  I'm from Pakistan. I love the Dravidian languages particularly Malayalam & Tamil. I like that both languages enjoy some level of mutual intelligibility so if we learn Malayalam, we'll also have some grasp over Tamil as well. I am also seeing a lot of grammatical similarities with Brahui, the proto-Dravidian language of Pakistan which also shares features with Elamite and is a remnant of the Harappan culture.

  if you are wondering about the meaning of Kulamaakki, it is derived from the punishment given by the King of Travancore, where the criminal's house was dug up and pond was built in the place of the house, This was known as Kulam Thondal, and this word also exists as slang even today, when someone does something bad which will bring misfortune to himself, others would say Avan Avante Kulam Thondi, likewise Kulamaakki is to mean something got destroyed or spoiled or get messed up
