Kia ora (hello in Māori)!
My name is Toby, or TFEAS-09. Welcome to my channel, where I show, review, post, and more, from whatever I have an interest in! In ths channel, you'll see tech such as Apple tech, Samsung tech, forgotten tech, old tech, etc, fire alarm misc such as evacuations, reviews, and whatnot, emergency services, such as FENZ, St John & NZ Police responses, lift misc, such as lift rides, busses, such as bus rides around (or out) Christchurch, and much more! So if you like any of those, then consider subscribing to see them!
Note: I am an Apple/Samsung user. I use a Samsung device as my main go-to recorder. If you do not like that, then please, without hesitation, leave. Thank you.
I do not appreciate offensive language, so do not consider using them on my videos. You may be reported. Thankyou for your cooperation.

What accent did the voice use? British or somehow Australian accent? I don’t know.
"Evacuate the loon to the nearest forest." I heard this again and again. Then I put on captions and after that I heard it correctly.
I would film my school drills but they banned phones last year.
@Alwaysdoinit112 Same - so I'll just sneak it I guess.
Lol but at my school there is a fine if you get caught. My school just has Amseco 10” motor bells tho.
@Alwaysdoinit112 Detention for me.. So what? Just bring a camera XD. Nice bells, we have Potters, System Sensor etc.
F 13 was built in 1872
Another good job Toby. I can tell you that if there is/was a fire any video footage you've got is helpful for Fire/Police Investigators, especially any you've taken before arrival of emergency services. It assists them in determining cause etc. Keep at it.
Another good catch mate
Scania???
@@ConcaHank Mistakes were made.
@@TFEAS-09 Both MAN and Scania owned by VW Group via one of their subsidiaries, so, in effect you are close enough to correct!!. Nice catch mate-and I see you've corrected the description. Cheers
0:04 That Gents Tangent is an incredibly lucky catch. Common sight in WWII in the UK, Ireland but extremely rare these days, especially in NZ. There are still a couple in Ireland being used for Fire call-outs like this one, but I wouldn’t be surprised if Lincoln’s is the only active Tangent in NZ, or possibly the southern hemisphere.
Kiwis still using VE 2 and VF series Commos lol, that thing must have about 500k+ on the clock by now, most probably has visible rust or about to break out in the upper and lower sills and permanently smells of ghetto poly arhrse all through, we'll be like Cuba soon😂
K9...?
K-9.
K9 means dog and this is the police K9 unit.
Wen u enter the military base GTA 5
What country is this? I've never seen an alarm like this before. I'm based in the united kingdom and our alarms are usually voice evac but have a hi-lo town instead.
Only Voice in UK?interesting we here in Germany have usually only siren
@@bastlwastl497 It’s in New Zealand, according to the channel.
@@bastlwastl497 New Zealand :)
Specifically the city of Christchurch in the South Island of New Zealand.
@@bastlwastl497I know in Germany that large places like shopping centres or airports etc have voice and siren

They were, I just questioned how it even happened?!
@@TFEAS-09 It’s the mystery abt crashes
My school has had false alarms before too! It has multiple F100A panels and I regularly see it in defect and the device isolated light is often on aswell
Nice
1:01 the Quell Smoke Alarm model is Q301, Q301H
Im confused!
Seems like they at least partially copied North American apparatus with that amidships pump and side panel, all thats missing is a hose bed.

That's my car 😎
You’re so pretty you’re so popular
THATS MY DADS CAR
😎
I’ll always be a Ford man but god damn.
Nice catch!👍🏻
What engine option is this one fitted with?
8,300 CC (8.3L) Cummins 6CTA8.3, 164 or 270 HP.
@@TFEAS-09 thought so from the sound. Beautiful machine. A real fire truck 🚒.
@patrickcannell2258 yep. It was quite awesome hearing it from outside, much similar to the older Scanias in my opinion. Other than that, definitely a truck that I love.
Cool collection!
Nice one!👍🏻
Thanks!
The 1st Lift in this video is actually an Early 1990s Schindler M-Series modded by Otis in 2010, since I've been learning about door tracks
Honk the horn
Crappy ATI remake.
Well, looking at it, it may not be the same. I did some research a while ago and these appear to be ATI Soundblaster HPSS.. However I could be missing a detail that makes these "fake".
The horns should be the same one. I do not live in New Zealand, Im a Canadian siren expert. I've recorded a DSA 4x2, Test are at 12:30. Sarnia chemical valley.
I’ve got a cv8 and a vxr8 and this is like the exact combination of both. Fkn class 😎
🤘
So it’s both in one? Like, the call point and the siren sounder altogether in just one device or something?
Yep! On use for very small buildings, such as a Police department or a fire station, sort of size. They are generally very loud and irritating, and most are being retired from use, so mine was a likely cause of that.
@@TFEAS-09 Okay… yeah… cool. Right.
Nice catch!👍🏻
Thankyou!
@@TFEAS-09 Your welcome!
What a shit video
Nice!
The 0915 that you got is nicknamed diamond grille 0915
Nice.
Is a diamond grille alarm rare?
I just thought I would ask you are you a smoke alarm collector? If you are that's cool I am. I have over like 15 or 16 different alarms including a few carbon monoxide alarms.
I am!
@@TFEAS-09 oh my gosh that's awesome. I wanna show you mine do you have like Skype or discord or anything I could add you to? Because I have so many I can show you them all.
@@TFEAS-09 do you have Skype any services we could talk on? I have so many smoke alarms I bet you would love them all
Cool
Im suprised to still see an old engine around Christchurch
We have TONS of old engines! We still use 'em!

Quell is actually not a chubb brand its owned by Kidde Australia Flame guard is a brand made by Chubb and owned by Chubb why do they look the same? Well when kidde used to make fire extinguishers in Australia, they didn’t make their own they used chubb to make their products ages ago, now kidde uses Chubb to sell their products but under quell because kidde isn’t for residential use anymore if that makes any sense 😊 previously quell was owned by Chubb but was given from Chubb to kidde 😂
Ah, okay. It really is a mix when it comes to these Chubb/Quell/FlameGuard, etc models.
@@TFEAS-09 yea bit confusing
What was the cause of the alarm? And was it on aleart
Well, this particular model is actually used as a gate alarm for cars. Christchurch uses these SIR-E Sounders a lot for gates. I guess what I could say is that the cause was just a gate. And yes, technically, it was on alert to notify others of the oncoming car.
Okay, Thanks for that mate!@@TFEAS-09
9V😂
Close enough.
That panel is a Pertronic. Believe it or not?
