  I think Ward of Bones is an amazing include for this deck. The one weakness I see for Bello is that you leave yourself defenseless against creature heavy decks. Assuming Bello is the only creature you need out this will limit your opponents to 2 creatures max.

  The auras smoke spirits aid create are controlled by you so enchanting your opponents creatures mean when they die your opponent takes the damage but you get the treasure. So enchanting your own creatures isn't really what you want to do unless you're going to board wipe and want the extra treasures anyway.

  You are right. I typically don’t show land bases with any of my decks because it is the most variable element of any deck and can range in price and quality.   Also a budget option for cryptology rite is insidious roots if you have a untap all creatures effect like extra combats you can get a lot of value out of it

  I’m starting work on a deck with Ghired. I’m going to try using him with Midnight Guard. It’s a 2 and White human soldier with “whenever another creature enters the battlefield under your control, untap Midnight Guard.” So I get Ghired out, get Midnight Guard out, got a token creature out, and then use Midnight Guard to create as many copies of that token as I want.

  The whirler rogue can be useful to make the ninjas unblockable after you put them with the ninjutsu.

  When you say that stolen goods is bad because you need 4 mana for something that gonti does for free, that's not really correct. With gonti, you still need to pay the mana cost, here you might pay 4 mana and get to cast a 6 mana sorcery spell. It might also be a crappy 1 mana instant, but for me keeping the randomness of what you get is part of the fun of this deck. So even if it's not optimal, I keep it for the lols.

  I run mine with Kiki jiki, Angrath's Marauders, Venom Connoisseur, Horn of Gondor., and Iroas. It's absolutely disgusting.

  I'd like to post my list for advice/brag. On its first test run I had over 100 creatures on board at turn seven without even having the power cards to amplify and modify damage.

  You can copy legendaries, but the legend rule still applies, so when the token comes into play, you will have to sacrifice 1.

  Great deck tech :). Was a little surprised at a lack of Night of Soul's Betrayal, but yea this looks like a really interesting style. Always excited for commanders that make cards you wouldn't normally play good.

  Question on Reshape the Earth and Scute Swarm: Let's say I have some artifacts and tron lands that let me get to 9 mana early, I only have 4 lands out. When Reshape resolves it puts 10 lands into play, now the total is over the 7 for scute swarm, so does this mean all TEN landfall triggers will make a scute swarm copy or will it still see less then 7 for first 3 triggers and then see 10 for the remaining 7?

  With Hazel, it depends on how good the squirrel tokens are. Offspring with neat effects would be fun to double. I'll probably play all these commanders, though, just because this plane has my 100 percent hooked.

  I would take out Infinite Hourglass. You are also giving opponent's a power boost for their creatures. This is concerning, especially after you already went into combat.

  Giving your opponents rad counters doesn't help you. Giving yourself some will, but your opponents will mill the cards on their turn and you won't be able to play the cards. I think Tato farmer is really good in this deck, but I don't know about the other two.

  Does a card like the new kozilek , the broken reality, give herigast a modifier for being colorless? Or is herigast considered a red creature?

  So herigast is red in its color identity. A lot of eldrazi have the keyword devoid that makes them colorless even if they have colored mana in their casting cost. Herigast does not say that so he would not get that colorless bonus from kozilek, the broken reality.

  I just got back in to magic and saw a few Sauron decks I wanted to do, I started getting trigger happy on sites putting cards into carts not realizing almost frikin half of them are in the commander 😵‍💫
