My day off from work and I found this gem. Thank you!!!
Thank you much. Very valuable information. Now I know what is involved.
Excellent Presentation
A great teacher!
thank you !!!!
this was fantastic and i learned so much. thank you
Currently doing a horticulture course and the notes are too much to take in... Thanku for a wonderful lecture, learnt way more in this vid than i ever would in particular course!!
Just started watching, looking for plant identification for ferns. There are so many!
What a good lecture!
I love this class. Rick is such a confident and competent teacher. His calm and soothing voice is easy to listen to. Thank you so much! Appreciated.
Wow amazing knowledge. Thank you.
This is a super beautiful lesson, I'm super happy learning about this, you're a super amazing teacher!!!!! :D
He sounds like George Bush, the son.
Somehow I missed the 2hr marker for the time and thought this was gonna be one of those goofy 8 quick tip kinda vids. That said, when you really wanna learn something its gonna take more than 2 hrs, so this is a good start.
These grown ass adults blurt out and talk more than kids do. Damn I would like for him to get thru his material without listening to these people just blurt out their little stories and blurt out answers that they didn't think about. Any of my past professors would've said something within the first 5 min to keep the class quiet, especially if he/she was recording.
The part where he was talking about how he figured out what was wrong with the ash trees my mind was blown. I was sitting in my chair being like "OMG What the HECK is killing the TREES????" and it turned out to be a string trimmer. I was blown away.
This was an amazing learning experience for me. I also think it's funny that half the time on the left table that lady had to keep all those plants there on her desk space. Great vid!
Great info, but I wish he’d get to the point more. Would cut down on the video much shorter.
Yesssss I found itttt
I really enjoyed this lesson thanks 🙂
I've planted seeds and coconuts where I live that are growing although they grow slowly in general; I'm planning to again remove them and relocate to another outdoor area that they can be successful at their normal size at maturity. Thank you. Because of you I am now a master garden volunteer, taking arborist certification class and pursuing a degree in landscaping and horticulture. I loved your lectures.

Great lecture. Shared with the gardening world. A must watch for all plant people.
Excellent lecture!
I realize this is an older video but I have a question regarding transplanting houseplants. I am always telling people to not break up the root ball when they transplant. I try very hard not to damage the root ball when transplanting. It sounds like you agree with me?
I love the knowledge you put out here . I’m in northern Missouri so the soul here is of course very different, but you give the information in such a way that the concepts are easily translated for use here, or anywhere. Thank you so much!
Whole vid could have been summarised in 10min
I really want to be able to go to college, but its very expensive, I dont think im smart enough, and I dont want to regret spending thousands on a major I dont want
I got swiss chard growing I love in my green smoothies
When there is plenty of water they shrink? About stomata?
why all botany are making wrong
Agree with static interfering. The slides are extremely helpful. Well taught.
Do we have a link to the presentation 😭 text is so small
This presentation is missing - how to apply the 8 rules. It would be much more beneficial by first stating the rules then how to apply them to your plants.
thank you for this 💝
I love this lecture and the professor! He's way of teaching, his lightly amusing real life examples and using pictures, etc. are easy to follow and listen to over and over again. Thank you! Because of you and this course material presented on KZread, and after watching each one 10+ times each or more, I am now in the Master Gardener Volunteer training course! THANK YOU!!
Ah mono, we meet again.
I'd love to have clarification on when it is good to use certain nematodes to combat vine weevil for instance vs the type you'd never want. Packages can sound very vague just writing 'nematodes' and also get spoken about just as generally, but seeing this I assume ,(and hope!) there are clear differences across the nematode families and hence their impacts on gardening...
This is a great lecture so far!
Distortions are such a shame - seem to fall in some really important words too! This subject can be taught so badly, and he was actually doing a good , paced job!
Nobody: Me copying down everything on the slides because I want to be a botanist even though I’m literally just 11:👁👄👁
You gotta start somewhere. Write any questions you have along with your notes and chase answers for them. That's how you build a quick map of a subject, and ultimately, experiment.
Dude same
Great info but I find myself thinking..Get to the point and stop asking questions when you know your going to answer them yourself..Too long winded for me.
